Abstract: 1mn1m[Problem] To implement a highly secure public key authentication scheme. [Solution] Provided is an information processing device that: generates a message on the basis of a tuple (F = (f … f)) of multivariate polynomials said multivariate polynomials being defined on a ring (K) and a vector s (s ? K); provides said message to a verifier who knows the tuple (F) of multivariate polynomials and a vector y (y = (f(s) … f(s))); and provides said verifier with response information corresponding to a verification pattern the verifier has selected from among k (k = 3) verification patterns. The vector s constitutes a secret key the tuple (F) of multivariate polynomials and the vector y constitute a public key the message consists of information obtained by using the public key and the response information to perform a computation that has been pre prepared for the verification pattern to which the response information corresponds and the tuple (F) of multivariate polynomials is generated using information that differs for each user.
