Information Update System

Abstract: [Problem] To provide an information update system that, while suppressing the occurrence of battery exhaustion, can use a wirelessly transmitted update file to update information stored in a control device that is installed in an industrial machine. [Solution] An information update system (2) comprises: an ignition (62); a control device (41); a gateway (3) that updates information stored in the control device (41); a first relay (51) that is controlled by the control device (41) to be connected or disconnected, and switches between conducting and shutting off electricity from a battery (61); and a second relay (52) that is controlled by the gateway (3) to be connected or disconnected, and switches between conducting and shutting off electricity from the battery (61). If the ignition (62) is set to off, the control device (41) disconnects the first relay (51). If the ignition (62) is set to off, the gateway (3) updates the information while the second relay (52) is still connected, then disconnects the second relay (52) after the information update is complete.
