Insulation Block For Skid Pipe, And Construction Method Thereof

Abstract: The present invention provides an insulation block for a skid pipe that is not easily damaged when installed around a skid pipe, and a method for constructing the insulation block. An insulation block (3) for a skid pipe according to the present invention includes a through-hole (35) penetrating from an outer circumferential surface of an insulation block body (31) to an inner circumferential surface thereof, wherein a retainer (6) is attached to the through-hole (35), the retainer (6) having an insertion hole for inserting a stud, the insertion hole being connected to the through-hole (35). The construction method according to the present invention includes: the steps for placing the insulation block (3) around a skid pipe; welding the stud to the skid pipe through the through-hole (35) and the insertion hole; filling the through-hole (35) with a sealing material; and pouring an insulating castable material between the skid pipe and the insulation block (3).
