Abstract: The present subject matter discloses a single integrated IAD casing system for hub reduction tandem axle instead of conventional planetary carrier and hub casing system to reduced churning losses comprises a single piece hub casing with integrated planetary carrier to provide single casing unit. The single integrated planetary casing system of present subject matter avoid integration of higher numbers of parts or components, thereby provide cost-effective, user-friendly system. DESC:[001] The present disclosure generally relates to an integrated IAD casing system and method of manufacturing thereof. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to the integrated IAD casing system for hub reduction tandem axle and method of manufacturing thereof.
[002] The current practice is to use split type IAD casing is used for inter-axle differential gears in the automobile. In such split type IAD casing design left hand and right hand casing are connected by the bolted joints which takes lots of space in design environment.
[003] However, the limitation or drawback of such system are such as it required high maintenance cost due to integration of greater numbers of parts into the system, which lead to higher machine cost. Also, this system required greater amount of time for assembly.
[004] Therefore, there is an unmet need to find an alternate low-cost robust single integrated IAD casing system to avoid integration of higher numbers of parts or components, which leads towards higher maintenance cost resulting into undesirable machine price with greater amount of assembly time.
[005] The present invention solves the aforementioned and other allied problems by the way of providing integrated IAD casing design for Hub reduction tandem axle instead of conventional IAD system. The integrated IAD casing design is a new and unique system of a single piece IAD hub casing with integrated IAD carrier is used. Further due to stiffness nature with single casing there may not minimal requirement of hardware for assembly resulting low-cost product.
[006] The present invention relates to an integrated IAD casing for hub reduction tandem axle. In this system a single Differential casing is used for differential gears instead of two left hand and right-hand casings. It is a spherical casing is to be provided in single casing to have the lower machining. Also, it is light weight design as compared to conventional diff case design due to single casing. Due to optimal stiffness with minimal hardware intervention hardware in the single IAD casing system. It is a cost effective, user friendly system for user. It also required minimal human intervention as there is less chances of failure of the system and if failure occurs it is not required to change whole set, only single casing needs to be changed.
[007] It is a light-weight design as compared to conventional split type design due to single part design. It is a single piece product with no joint and locking mechanism. Further it is light weight design, reduced no hardware’s and reduced service cost, thereby this product ensures low aftermarket service and maintenance cost and being implemented in PRO 8000 vehicle platform system.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATIVE EMBODIMENTS
[0010] The present invention relates to the integrated IAD casing system and method of manufacturing thereof. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to the integrated IAD casing system for hub reduction tandem axle and method of manufacturing thereof.
[0011] Referring to FIG. 1 integrated IAD casing system for hub reduction tandem axle. In this system a single Differential casing is used for differential gears instead of two left hand and right-hand casings. It is a spherical casing is to be provided in single casing to have the lower machining. Also, it is light weight design as compared to conventional diff case design due to single casing. Due to optimal stiffness with minimal hardware intervention hardware in the single IAD casing system. It is a cost effective, user friendly system for user. [0015] It would become abundantly clear to a person in the art, after reading this specification that the present subject matter also provides a single integrated planetary casing system and method of manufacturing thereof. More specifically, the present subject matter discloses a single integrated planetary casing system to avoid integration of higher numbers of parts or components and for Hub reduction tandem axle, without departing from the spirit of the present subject matter. While the subject matter may be susceptible to various modifications and alternative forms, specific embodiments have been shown by way of example in the drawings and have been described herein. Alternate embodiments or modifications may be practiced without departing from the spirit of the present subject matter. The drawings shown are schematic drawings and may not be to the scale. While the drawings show some features of the subject matter, some features may be omitted. Alternatively, in some other cases some features may be emphasized while others are not. Further, the methods disclosed herein may be performed in manner and/or order in which the methods are explained. Alternatively, the methods may be performed in manner or order different than what is explained without departing from the spirit of the present subject matter.
