[001] The present disclosure generally relates to an integrated ring gear system and method of manufacturing thereof. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to the single integrated ring gear system for hub reduction tandem axle and method of manufacturing thereof.
BACKGROUND
[002] Currently split type ring gear is used in planetary assembly of hub reduction tandem axle in the automobile sector. In the split type ring gear system, a planet ring gear and carrier ring gear are connected by the splines and locked by the retaining ring, which lead to bulky nature of the product thereby increase the weight of the product.
[003] Further the limitations or disadvantages in such system is that due to bulky nature of the product, it required greater packaging space and consume more administrative time in addition to requirement of higher numbers of part of components to assemble the product of present invention lead towards consuming a higher assembly time resulting into greater product cost.
[004] Therefore, there is an unmet need to find an alternate low-cost robust single integrated planetary casing system to avoid integration of higher numbers of parts or components, which leads towards higher maintenance cost resulting into undesirable machine price with greater amount of assembly time.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
[005] The present invention solves the aforementioned and other allied problems by the way of providing a single integrated ring gear system for hub reduction tandem axle and method of manufacturing thereof. The single integrated ring gear system is a new and unique concept, wherein instead of carrier ring and planet ring gear, a single piece ring gear is used for planetary assembly. Here machining is to be done on single part in the integrated ring gear to have the lower machining time. It is light weight system as compared to conventional split type design due to single part design. Due to the single casing with higher stiffness nature of the system, there is minimal requirement of hardware low cost of system.
[006] It is a light-weight system as compared to conventional ring gear system due to single part design system. It is a single piece product with no joint and locking mechanism. Further it is light weight design, reduced no hardware’s and reduced service cost, thereby this product ensures low aftermarket service and maintenance cost and being implemented in PRO 8000 vehicle platform system.
[007] In one embodiment, the present subject matter discloses a cost effective single integrated planetary casing system comprising an integrated planetary casing system characterized by low-cost robust single integrated planetary casing system to avoid integration of higher numbers of parts or components and discloses a method of manufacturing the same. [008] In other ways, the cost effective single integrated planetary casing system of the present invention avoid split type ring gear system, thereby it is a single piece system with no joint and locking mechanism. Hence due to light weight system, there is ease of assembly leads towards minimal maintenance and service time. Thereby, the system ensures low aftermarket service and maintenance cost. Further the system is being implemented in hub reduction tandem axle for PRO 8000 vehicle platform system.

[0011] The present invention relates to the integrated ring gear system and method of manufacturing thereof. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to the single integrated ring gear system for hub reduction tandem axle and method of manufacturing thereof.
[0012] Referring to FIG. 1 a single integrated ring gear system for hub reduction tandem axle. The single integrated ring gear system of present invention is a new and unique system of a single piece hub casing with integrated ring gear is used. Further due to stiffness nature with single casing there may not minimal requirement of hardware for assembly resulting low-cost product. The integrated ring gear system is a new and unique concept, wherein instead of carrier ring and planet ring gear, a single piece ring gear is used for planetary assembly.
