Intelligent Computer Implemented Aggregator System And Method For Booking Services

Abstract: An intelligent computer implemented aggregator system for booking services is disclosed. A means for on boarding a plurality of service provider offering services to their customers for booking, the on boarding means allows at least one user with login verification of the service provider provides layout of premises, a plurality of photographs to show 360 degrees view of the premises, a plurality of slots such as table view/layout of restaurant, chair view/layout of Spa & Saloon and Automobile Servicing slot and their timings offered for booking and a list of bigger or premium services and custom offerings. The system includes an application software installed in a communication device of user, grant access to the customer through a login process, lists out this recent booking, list out his/her favorite bookings, shows availability of his/her preferred destinations and services filtered over a geographical location detected by his/her communication device through an intelligent hardware detection and allows to make a reservation of a preferred service. The intelligent system displays the dynamic availability of Restaurant, Spa & Saloons and Automobile servicing stations within a specific radius of 100mts, 200mts, 300mts and so on. Also the user is provided with an option to check several details of the selected service such as checking nearby details of the required service, checking Open/Close status of the selected service, displaying rating details of the selected service and displaying vacant information of table/slots at specific time.

Specification

Claims:1. A computer implemented aggregator system for booking of services, wherein the system comprises:
a means for on boarding plurality of services providers;
the on boarding means allows at least one designated user with a login verification of the service provider, to provide with:
a layout of their premises;
a plurality of photographs and 360 degrees view of the said premises;
a plurality of slots and their timings offered for booking;
a list of bigger or premium services and custom offerings;
an application software, through which a customer for one or more of the service providers of the system, accesses:
recent bookings;
favorite bookings;
availability of preferred destinations and services filtered over a geographical location;
the application software allows:
the customer for searching for a service provider in a desired geographical location and area;
to view a list of services on a graphical layout;
for booking a service, a slot, a time of one or more service providers by paying an advance amount; and
the system sends notifications via text messages and e-mails with confirmation of their bookings.

2. The system according to claim 1, characterized to comprise one or more hardware systems installed at each service provider, wherein the hardware system monitors the premises and notifies the application software:
about open or closed state of a service without need for a personal intervention;
scans the availability of a designated place for the selected service, accompanied to the aggregator system for showing dynamic availability of the services;
automatically updates the application software with an availability of parking, a valet driver, a delivery service of plurality of providers.

3. The system according to claim 1, wherein the booking comprises a plurality of services selected/ordered, a time of the booking, a duration of the booking and the names of guests associated with each reservation.

4. The system according to claim 1, characterized to display dynamic availability of Restaurants, Spa & Saloons and Automobile servicing stations within a specific radius of 100mts, 200mts, 300mts and so on.

5. The system according to claim 1, characterized to allow the user to check the details of Restaurants, Spa & Saloons and Automobile servicing stations before booking the service includes but not limited to:
allowing, user to check the available details of nearby services;
displaying, open/close status of selected services;
displaying, the ratings of the selected services; and
displaying, vacant tables/slots information at a specific time.

6. The system according to claim 1, wherein an advance amount should be paid by the customer while booking a service to avoid false booking and the amount is adjusted or refunded on final bill. Notifications and remainders are sent through SMS to the customer’s registered mobile number before 1 hr of a predetermined time.

7. The system according to claim 1, characterized to provide a plurality of service providers for booking a service includes but not limited to:
A restaurant;
a spa &saloon; and
a automobile servicing.

8. A computer implemented method for booking multiple services from one or more service providers, wherein the method comprises steps of:
searching, a service provider by keying in a desired geographical location and an area;
viewing, a list of services on a graphical layout;
booking, a service based on a time slot with selected customization in terms of a predetermined area and no. of incumbents for which a service is desired by paying an advance amount; and
getting, notifications via text messages and e-mails with confirmation of the bookings.

9. The method according to claim 8, characterized to comprise one or more hardware systems installed in service providers premises, wherein the hardware systems monitors the premises and notifies the application software about:
a state of the service provider without need for a personal intervention to know an availability of a service;
scanning, an occupancy of the service provider, wherein the application software dynamically pushes the availability to a database;
updating, the application software with an availability of parking automatically;
and
availability, of a valet driver or a parking slot at the time the service is booked.

10. The method according to claim 8, wherein the services booked, includes but not limited to: restaurants, spas and saloons, and automobile repair.

, Description:Technical Field of the Invention

[0001] Present invention relates to an intelligent computer implemented aggregator system for booking services. More particularly, relates to a computer implemented aggregator method for booking a preferred service.

Background of the Invention

[0002] Conventionally we have many online services such as restaurant slot booking, spa & saloon appointment booking, and automobile servicing appointment booking are available to customer. The customer can access these online services through computers, smart phones or other networked communication devices from anywhere.

[0003] These online services provide the way to schedule the user appointments, reservations and provide basic scheduling facilities in an on-line environment. The scheduling is based on calendar dates available in the service provider portal. The user will make the service bookings based on the date and time which he/she required in the calendar of service provider.

[0004] In some conventional services, a third party involved in the booking of services. For example, the user wants to book a service with a reputed service provider, he/she need to communicate with the third party and book their service. However, these conventional system have many disadvantages includes the user should communicate with third party every time for booking and cancellation of the services leads to waste of time and money. Sometimes the third party may note the booking times wrongly. In restaurants booking, spa & saloon and automobile, the user does not have a chance to book the location and place of table or slot which is comfortable to them. This leads to a very limited business marketing utility.

[0005] In order to overcome the aforesaid disadvantages, there is a need to develop a computer implemented aggregator system for booking services.

Brief Summary of the Invention

[0006] According to a first aspect of present invention, a computer implemented aggregator system for booking of services is disclosed. The system comprises a means for on boarding plurality of services providers, the on boarding means allows at least one designated user with a login verification of the service provider to provide with a layout of their premises, a plurality of photographs and 360 degrees view of the said premises, a plurality of slots and their timings offered for booking and a list of bigger or premium services and custom offerings.

[0007] In accordance with the first aspect of present invention, the system further comprises application software, through which a customer for one or more of the service providers of the system accesses recent bookings, favorite bookings, availability of preferred destinations and services filtered over a geographical location.

[0008] In accordance with the first aspect of present invention, the system further also comprises the application software allows the customer for searching for a service provider in a desired geographical location and area, to view a list of services on a graphical layout, for booking a service, a slot, a time of one or more service providers by paying an advance amount and the system sends notifications via text messages and e-mails with confirmation of their bookings.

[0015] In accordance with the first aspect of the present invention, further the system is characterized in such a way that the user is provide/allowed to check the details of Restaurants, Spa & Saloons and Automobile servicing stations before booking the service includes but not limited to allowing the user to check the available details of nearby services, displaying the open/close status of selected services, displaying the ratings of the selected services and displaying the vacant tables/slots information at a specific time.

The method comprises steps of searching a service provider by keying in a desired geographical location and an area, viewing a list of services on a graphical layout, booking a service based on a time slot with selected customization in terms of a predetermined area and no. of incumbents for which a service is desired by paying an advanced amount and getting notifications via text messages and e-mails with confirmation of the bookings.

Detailed Description of the Invention

[0024] The present invention is directed towards an intelligent computer implemented system and method for booking a table in restaurant. Referring to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals designate identical or corresponding systems, preferred embodiments of the present invention are described.

[0025] Referring to the drawings, FIGS. 1A-1L illustrates a screen shots 100a-100l depicting a restaurants table booking and cancellation according to the present invention. The on boarding a plurality of service providers such as restaurants offering tables booking to their customers. The on boarding means for allowing the one user of the restaurant to upload a layout of the tables in their restaurant, table photo graphs to show 360 degrees view, number of slots and their distinct timings offered and list of bigger or premium services and custom offerings to customer.

[0026] The aggregator system comprises a one or more hardware’s which are installed in the restaurants service provider for monitoring the premises and notifies the application software of customers. The hardware detects the application software of user and tells the state of restaurant such as open or close state without need for a personal intervention. The hardware scans the occupancy or availability of tables view which are attached to the restaurant system and gives the dynamic availability of tables. The application software updates with an availability of parking, valet parking and delivery service automatically. The booking comprises restaurant selected slots, table view, time of booking a table, duration of booking and the names of guests associated with each restaurant reservation.

[0027] The system employs a desktop application and software application installed in a communication device or mobile application for booking table view slot at their specific time in a restaurant. The system might function to register one or more interested restaurants willing to engage in the service. The customer registers his/her details includes name of the customer, mobile number, Email ID etc., through the mobile application which allows making reservation of the table. The registration process is free of cost and need not to pay any amount.

The customer information is not available in the system for future references and exclusive offers and discount information details are not sent to unregistered customers. The customer clicks on the mobile application ‘BookMySlots’ (100a) in communication device or desktop application for table slot booking as shown in FIG. 1A. The system displays the welcome note (100b) with minimum amount paid for the table booking as advance will be refunded on the final restaurant bill as shown in FIG. 1B and press OK to continue. This minimum paid amount may vary moving forward from area to area, place to place, time to time and availability of service.

[0029] Using interface or mobile application or desktop application, the customer can search (100c) for the restaurant service providers in a desired geographical location (102c), area(104c) and customer specified date (106c) as shown in FIG. 1C. The mobile and desktop application searches its database of available restaurants and displays a list of restaurants, booking table view and pay online options as shown in FIG. 1D and their available appointments matching the customer specified search criteria. The system allowing the customer to select one or more category of restaurants such as pure vegetarian, veg and non-vegetarian, bar and restaurant, Chinese, continental, coffee day, fast food, three star and five star or the like as shown in FIGS. 1E-1G. The customer can book single or multiple tables with category of services with single login. The customer directly views table/tables position and book their table/tables view as per their requirement. The duration of each table slot booking is two hours.

[0030] The customer can search (100c) for the restaurant service providers based on geographical location (102c), area (104c) and customer specified date (106c) as shown in FIG. 1C. The customer can view the displayed restaurant details and choose the tables view available in the restaurant with an option choose your restaurant as shown in FIG. 1I. After selecting the restaurant, a graphical layout of one or more table views is displayed as shown in FIG. 1J. The customer can choose the required tables from table graphical layout as shown in FIG. 1J with an option, book your table and select one or multiple tables upon his/her requirement and the table is booked at a specific date, time and slot. After selecting the table, the customer is redirected to payment gateway as shown in FIG. 1L for paying the money.

[0031] The rating of the restaurants is also available to the customer to facilitate the better understanding of services. Geo-location is the process of finding, determining and providing the exact location of the restaurant. The coordinates are identified on a map to provide a complete address that usually includes a country, city, town or colony, building name and street address. A
minimum advanced amount or nominal amount need to be paid by the customer while booking the table slot to avoid false booking and this amount is refunded to customer at restaurant final bill payment. This nominal amount or minimum amount paid by the customer may vary moving forward from area to area, place to place, time to time and availability of service.

In case of any cancellation of table slot is take place, the advance payment will be refunded by online only as per the cancellation policy of payment gateway or RBI from time to time. Once the customer booked a table slot for their dining at the selected restaurant with a specified date and time, immediately the system will send a confirmation message (100k) as shown in FIG. 1K by SMS as well as by Email. The same will be done for cancellation also. A remainder SMS will be sent to the customer registered mobile number before one hour of his/her table occupancy time. The customer access the recent bookings, favorite bookings and availability of preferred destinations and services filtered over a geographical location by the application software.

[0033] In another embodiment of the present invention is that the customer can directly cancel their table slot advance booking as per the cancellation policy. The cancellation policy may vary from time to time based on requirement of customer and service of the restaurant. If the customer wants to cancel their table booking, the details are as follows. In case of any customer cancelled their booking before 24 hrs the advance payment while booking will be refundable 100%. However, ten rupees will be charged and deducted as a cancellation charges. In case of any customer cancelled their booking before 3 hrs the advance payment while booking will be refundable 60% only. However, ten rupees will be charged and deducted as a cancellation charges. In case of any customer cancelled their booking less than 3 hrs of their booking slot, the advance payment while booking the slot will not be refundable.

[0034] FIGS. 2A-2B illustrates a flow chart 200a-200b depicting a step by step process of restaurant table booking and cancellation according to the present invention. At the start process (202a), the customer opens and clicks on BookMySlots.com (204a) and login/sign up (206a) as a registered customer (208a) or guest (210a) in communication device or desktop application for slot booking. The system displays the welcome note with amount paid for the table booking as advance will be refunded on the final restaurant bill and press OK to continue. After login/sign up (206a) into mobile or desktop application of BookMySlot.com (204a) the customer can search for the restaurant service providers based on geographical location, area and customer specified date and the customer location such as city & area is being tracked by GPS to find restaurants (212a).

[0035] The mobile & desktop application searches its database of available restaurants and displays a list of restaurants, booking tables view with date and time slot and pay online options and their available appointments matching the customer specified search criteria. The system allowing the customer to select one or more category of restaurants such as pure vegetarian (216a), veg & non-vegetarian (214a), bar and restaurant (218a), Chinese (220a), continental (222a), coffee day (224a), fast food (226a), three star and five star (228a) or the like and more (230a). The customer can book single or multiple tables with maximum 3 tables per user category of services with single login.

After selecting the table layout or view the customer is redirected to payment gateway (242a) for paying the money to book tables. Table booking is confirmed (244a) and the confirmation SMS and Email with table booking details is sent to the both customer and restaurant manager (246a).

[0037] A remainder SMS will be sent to the customer registered mobile number and restaurant manager before 1 hour of his/her table occupancy time as an alert, which includes booked/ reserved table details (248a). The customer occupies the table in selected restaurant as per the schedule time and enjoys the food (250a). Nominal amount or advanced amount paid by the customer while table booking will be adjusted in the final bill (252a) at the end process (254a).

After login/sign up (306a) into mobile application and desktop application of BookMySlot.com (304a), the customer can search for the Spa & Saloon service providers based on geographical location, area and customer specified date and the customer location such as city & area is being tracked by GPS to find Spa & Saloon (312a).

The customer can book single or multiple chairs layout or view with category of services with single login. The services offered by Spa & Saloon includes haircut, shave/trim, shampoo & blow dry, haircut, shave/trim, shampoo & blow dry, massage, hair color / hair spa treatment, haircut, shave/trim, shampoo & blow dry , massage, fruit facial and more.

After selecting the chairs layout or view the customer is redirected to payment gateway (334a) for paying the money to book chairs. Chair booking is confirmed (336a) and the confirmation SMS and Email with chair booking details is sent to the both customer and Spa & Saloon manager (338a).

The customer occupies the chair in selected Spa & Saloon as per the schedule time and utilizes the service (342a). Nominal amount or advanced amount paid by the customer while chair booking will be adjusted in the final bill (346a) at the end process (348a).

[0046] The duration of the Spa & Saloon table slot is as follows services under A category is one hour, services under B category two hours and services under C category three hours. The rating of the Spa & Saloon is also available to the customer to facilitate the better understanding of services. Geo-location is the process of finding, determining and providing the exact location of the Spa & Saloon. The coordinates are identified on a map to provide a complete address that usually includes a country, city, town or colony, building name and street address.

[0047] An advanced amount must be paid by the customer while booking the chair slot to avoid false booking and this amount is refunded to customer at Spa & Saloon final bill payment. The payment of chair slot booking is done through online. The advanced amount for Spa & Saloon includes the customer need to pay 50 rupees as an advance to avail single category of services while booking the chair slot. For multiple categories of Spa & Saloon services, the customer needs to pay 100 rupees as an advance while booking. In case of any cancellation of chair slot, take place the advance payment will be refunded by online only as per the cancellation policy of payment gateway or RBI from time to time. Moving forward the prices on booking amount may vary from city to city and area to area also.

[0048] FIG. 3B illustrates a flow chart 300b depicting a step by step process of Spa & Saloon chair cancellation according to the present invention. At the start process (302b), the customer opens the BookMySlots.com (304b) and login/sign up (306b) as registered user or login as a guest user (308b). The customer enters ticket number and Email ID for ticket cancellation (310b). Chair booking cancelled successfully, and payment refunded as per the T&C (312b) at the end (314b). The cancellation charges may vary from time to time based on the requirement of Spa & Saloon service.
