Intelligent Image Processing Dress Up Checker & Data Logging System

Abstract: This invention presents the design and construction of a combination of camera and sensor that will check the overall appearance of the person standing in front of them. It will analyze the person from top to bottom to search for a tie, ID card, shirt/coat logo and shoes on behalf of color. This data collected from the sensors will collectively be given to an AI engine to formulate the dynamic rules accordingly and perceive the ideality of discipline standards of the person. Also the time of input will tell the punctuality score of the student/employee.

This invention relates to image processing and data logging system.
Background of the Invention
A very common problem seen today in colleges and offices is the irregularity and improper dress up of the students or employees of the offices. Every day there has to be a check on this disciplinary subject and regulatory authorities have to manually check and curb the outlines. This intention/action of the authorities takes a lot of efforts to keep a check on the defaulters.

In order to bring this invention in reality we need a camera (minimum 12 MP) to capture the image. The image captured will be given at the backend to our AI engine. The AI engine will be pre-feed with the datasets. The image captured will be matched with this dataset and the MC (Match Count) index will be calculated. (Fig. 1. Illustration of working process)
Picture processing is a technique for applying operations on an image in order to improve it or extract relevant information from it. It's a sort of signal processing in which the input is an image and the output is either that image or its characteristics/features. Image processing is one of the most quickly evolving technologies today. It is also a critical research field in engineering and computer science.
Image processing basically includes the following three steps:
• Importing the image via image acquisition tools;
• Analyzing and manipulating the image;
• Output in which result can be altered image or report that is based on image analysis.
(Fig. 2. Shows the organization of vision device)
Analogue and digital image processing are the two types of image processing methods employed. Analogue image processing can be utilized for the hard copies like prints and photographs. When employing these visual tools, image analysts employ a variety of interpretive fundamentals. Digital image processing techniques allow for computer-assisted alteration of digital images. Pre-processing, augmentation, and presentation, as well as information extraction, are the three general processes that all sorts of data must go through when employing digital technology.
We will work on a few basic technicalities in this patent, such as picture, digital image, and digital image processing. Different digital image sources will be fed as input, with examples for each source provided. This invention will cover the entire spectrum of image processing to computer vision. Finally, picture acquisition and several types of image sensors will be discussed.
This model uses the features of camera to behave as an input unit for the dress code. Also, the time at which data is taken as input will be considered to be checked for punctuality score.
As demonstrated in the diagrams above we have segregated the system in two devices. The first one is Vision Device which has a common power supply for AI engine. The AI engine is referred to the computing device which takes input from Camera and Touch screen and sends some of the data to the cloud storage while processes major of the data on its end. The AI engine generates an image from multiple input images, the quality of the generated image are in par with those created by professional graphics designers, and time consumed to generate is just few seconds.
In the second system named Sensor devices we have a power supply to Black color detection sensor and ATmega 328. ATmega 328 sends data to the Computing device via Bluetooth for further processing as per the algorithm.
Machines can be taught to interpret images the same way our brains do and to analyze those images much more thoroughly than we can. Image processing with artificial intelligence can power face recognition and authentication functionality for ensuring security in public places, detecting and recognizing objects and patterns in images and videos, and so on.
In this work, we talk about digital image processing and the role of AI in it. We describe some AI-based image processing tools and techniques you may use for developing intelligent applications.
The input is taken in the first stage. Second stage is the processing of the data taken as input. The AI engine will already have pre-defined data set from which it is going to match the input. Images of Tie, ID card, Logo and trousers will be the pre-knowledge for the engine. The algorithm will make use of image sensing and image processing for defining the accurate output. Other than identifying the MC the punctuality score will also be a part of this work. The particular instance of time at which the input data is recorded will be the arrival time of employee which can also be considered as attendance mark and IN time of the employee.
Advantage of the invention:
• The system is going to check the irregularity in the discipline of punctuality and proper uniform. It also checks the defaulters on daily and weekly basis.
• The check will be made as a retroactive process and defaulters as well as higher authorities will get a notification on the activities and FC (Foul Count).
• The system can be used in other organizations for the checking of dress and punctuality of the employees. It can be used to check the count of the participants present in the meeting.
• In Hotel Industry the dress up for waiters, bartenders and managers is very important and that can be achieved by this patent work. Not only dress but it will also check the other things like time in time out and attendance of the employees/students etc.
• On events such as convocation, the count can be calculated for the attendees using this patent work.
