Abstract: The current trend of web applications has made it easier for people to share information and communicate with others. However, there is a noticeable lack of dedicated web applications designed specifically for college students to enhance their industry-oriented skills. While there are existing platforms that provide certain features, these features are not integrated in a single place. To address this gap, we have developed a web-based application for placement guidance and skill development, which enables users to connect with Placement Faculty, Teachers, and Alumni. Our platform provides information on recruiting companies on campus, including their name, hiring profile, package, and hiring statistics. There is also a dedicated section for student-alumni interaction, where users can filter alumni by name, company, and position, and connect with them to gather information regarding on-going internships, hiring periods, trending technology, and project information. The application also includes information on college events, internships, study materials for placement and exam purposes. The aim of this application is to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge, build networking and to help students achieve their high-paid job dream or job in their dream company. Our platform also releases the pressure of placement from the placement department, as students are aware from the very beginning of their college degree.
