Abstract: [Problem] To suppress micro-bending losses of optical fibers when an intermittent-connection-type optical fiber tape is configured by separating the outer circumferential parts of the adjacent optical fibers from each other. [Solution] An intermittent-connection-type optical fiber tape according to the present invention is provided with: a plurality of optical fibers arrayed in the width direction; and connection units that each intermittently connects two of the optical fibers adjacent to each other. The distance between the centers of the two adjacent optical fibers is larger than the diameter of each of the optical fibers. The sum total of volume contraction amounts of the connection units per 1 m of one optical fiber is equal to or lower than 0.00070 mm3/m·°C.
