Internal Gear Mechanism For A Flap Of An Air Vent
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an air vent assembly (10) for an air conditioning system. The air vent assembly (10) includes a housing (12), a barrel (14), and a 5 knob (16). The barrel (14) comprises a first portion (24) and a second portion (26). The second portion (26) is defined with a first gear profile (30). The air vent (10) further comprises a flap (32) which is pivotally disposed within the housing (12). The flap (32) comprises a second gear profile (34) configured to be engaged with the first gear profile (30). The first gear profile (30) meshed with the second gear 10 profile (34) is configured to control the rotation of the flap (32) between a first position and a second position. [Figure 3]
