Internet Of Things (Iot) Enabled Railway Gate System For Early Detection Of The Movement Of The Train

Abstract: In Everyday life the road travelling is essential for every individual particularly in the India. While crossing the railway tracks many accidents occurring due to the rash driving to cross the gate before getting closed/Unmanned Level Crossings. To fill this gap the invention will control the accidents. In the proposed invention railway tracks placing the alarms beside the roads and sending SMS alert to the mobile will detect the early movement of the train before reaching near to the railway gates/ULC. So this will make the users to change the route or respond accordingly to that. This will leads to save time/avoidance of accidents.

Specification

Claims:1.Placement of the vibration sensor under the railway gates for the early detection of the train movement.
1.1: Vibration sensor is a physical entity which will be connected to the analog pin of node MCU microcontroller as an input
1.2: The input values will be stored in the Thing Speak cloud platform.
2.Plantation of the buzzers beside the roads with 100 meters distance till 1 KM to get sound alarms/alert.
2.1: Buzzer will be connected to the digital pin of Micro-controller as an output, based on the input value of the analog pin it will ring.
3. Sending the SMS to the mobile based on the cloud and GPS 2 KMs surrounding users from the gate/ULC.
3.1: With the help of Thing Speak cloud platform, GPS and IFTTT (IF This, Then That) technology the SMS will be send to the registered users when they are near surroundings to the railway gate/ULC. , Description:DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The proposed system will automatically detect the train movement 1 KM before reaching to the railway gate/ULC, in order to send the SMS alert globally to the mobile phones and the buzzer sound beside the roads. It will help the users to take diversion to other route or to come slowly. This can be constructing in 3 modules.
Module 1: In planting the vibration sensor under the railway track.
Module 2: In planting the Buzzers/alarms/bells beside the roads till 2 KMs.
Module 3: Sending the SMS to the registered mobiles based on the GPS and the Thing Speak cloud platform.
Module 1:
The vibration sensors will be placed/attached/implanted under the railway track after placing the sensor will be connected to the micro controller node MCU. The Node MCU will be supplied the power to the vibration sensors and identifies the readings of that vibration sensors and push that sensors to the Thing Speak cloud platform. A Cloud Thing Speak is a cloud platform where can store the data in every second. Once the readings are uploaded to the cloud the triggering can be done based on uploaded readings.
Module 2:
Beside the roads 1 KM near to the gates within the range of 100 meters the buzzers will be placed till 1 KMs. All the Buzzers will be connected to the micro controller and it will be triggered based on the readings the stored in the Thing Speak cloud platform. Locally those who are on the roads with the alarm sounds they may divert to other route or may come slowly near the gates.
Module 3:
Based on the readings the cloud platform with the help of IFTTT (IF This, Then That) technology the movement of the train will be notify to the registered user with the help of SMS alert.
