Abstract: A Tool for discharging the Fire Extinguishant of Fire Extinguisher comprises a cylindrical shaped body made of Brass, with provision of outlet of Fire Extinguishant to cylinder. With the help of this discharging tool, the Fire Extinguishant available in the Fire Extinguisher can be safely transferred to the cylinders. The collected Fire Extinguishant in the cylinders can be utilized to charge the Fire Extinguishers. A Tool for discharging the Fire Extinguishant of Fire Extinguisher comprises a regulating valve to help in discharging the Fire Extinguishant with the help of needle attached which ruptures the disc in the Fire Extinguishers. The Fire Extinguishant available in the Fire Extinguisher can be easily transferred to the cylinder without any leakage by the help of this discharging tool.

2. Field of invention
This invention is related to the repair, overhaul and testing facility of Fire Extinguishers of military aircraft.
3. Use of invention
This invention is used to establish the discharging facility of Fire Extinguishant available in Fire Extinguishers so that the Extinguishant available in Fire Extinguisher can be safely transferred to the cylinders during repair/ overhaul of the units.The collected fire extinguishant can be used for charging of Fire Extinguishers.
4. Prior art
Fire Extinguishers used to be serviced after the usage of Fire Extinguishant over a period of time. In cases where the Fire Extinguisher was not in service for long time, designers have suggested to empty the fire extinguishant and refill the fire extinguishant during servicing. The facility for discharging the Fire Extinguishant was not available and hence the servicing of Fire Extinguishers was getting held up leading to customer dissatisfaction.
5. Draw backs of prior art
a. Provision of discharging the fire extinguishant was not available.
b. Fire Extinguishers with empty extinguishant can be serviced.
c. Provision of discharging the extinguishant in case of failure during testing was not available.
It leads to wastage of fire extinguishant and non-clearance of the unit leading to customer
dissatisfaction.
6. Comparison between prior art and present invention
i. In the prior art the provision for discharging the fire extinguishant was not available. Hence an arrangement in the form of special tool was fabricated to discharge the Fire Extinguishant with the help of needle attached which
ruptures the disc in the Fire Extinguishers.
ii. Also there was no provision to service the Fire Extinguishers filled with Fire Extinguishant leading to customer dissatisfaction. The present invention of special tool will help in servicing such Fire Extinguishers. iii. Provision of discharging the extinguishant in case of failure during testing was not available in prior art. The special tool will help to discharge Fire Extinguishant as and when required.
7. Aim of the invention
Aim of the invention was to develop a tool which can discharge the fire extinguishant as and when required without any wastage.
8. Summary of the present invention
The present art ensures that the fire extinguishant can be discharged effectively without any wastage. This is achieved with the help of a special tool which ruptures the disc at the charging plug enabling the fire extinguishant to get discharged and collected in special purpose cylinder. The servicing/functional tests of Fire Extinguishers is now carried out effectively.

10. Statement of invention
The special tool for discharging Fire Extinguishant of Fire Extinguishers provides an easy and efficient way to carry out the servicing/functional tests as suggested by designer.
11. Detailed description of invention

a. Contains a cylindrical shaped body made of brass, with provision of outlet of Fire
Extinguishant to cylinder. With the help of this discharging tool, the Fire Extinguishant
available in the Fire Extinguisher can be safely transferred to the cylinders. The collected Fire Extinguishant in the cylinders can be utilized to charge the Fire Extinguishers.
b. Contains a regulating valve to help in discharging the Fire Extinguishant with the help of needle attached which ruptures the disc in the Fire Extinguishers. The Fire Extinguishant available in the Fire Extinguisher can be easily transferred to the cylinders without any leakage.
We claim that:
1. Invention of Tool for discharging the Fire Extinguishant of Fire Extinguisher, said
work comprising : a cylindrical shaped body made of brass, with provision of outlet of Fire
Extinguishant to cylinder and a regulating valve to help in discharging the Fire
Extinguishant with the help of needle attached which ruptures the disc in the Fire
Extinguishers.
2. Invention of Tool for discharging the Fire Extinguishant of Fire Extinguisher as claimed in claim 1 wherein the tool has a cylindrical shaped body made of brass and tool has a provision of outlet of Fire Extinguishant for transferring Fire Extinguishant from Fire Extinguisher to cylinder.
3. Invention of Tool for discharging the Fire Extinguishant of Fire Extinguisher as claimed in claim 1 wherein the tool has a regulating valve to help in discharging the Fire Extinguishant.
4. Invention of Tool for discharging the Fire Extinguishant of Fire Extinguisher as claimed in claim 1 wherein the tool has a needle which ruptures the disc in the Fire Extinguishers and the Fire Extinguishant available in the Fire Extinguisher can be discharged to the cylinder.
