Inverter Integrated Motor

Abstract: The present invention provides an inverter-integrated motor (100, 101, 102) in which an inverter module (25, 25a, 25b) and a motor (1, 1a, 1b) are integrated so as to line up in an axial direction of said motor. The inverter module (25, 25b) is mounted to a surface at a non-output end of a housing (15, 15b), of a pair of housings (12, 12a, 15, 15b, 21, 41), that has a bearing (17) that supports an output end of shaft (4). The inverter (26a, 26b) is exposed from a molded resin portion (34) of the inverter module (25, 25a, 25b), and a surface of the inverter (26a, 26b) that is exposed from the molded resin portion (34) contacts the surface at the non-output end of said housing (12a, 15, 15b) to which said inverter module (25, 25a, 25b) is mounted.

Specification

1. An inverter-integrated motor (100, 101, 102) in which an inverter
module (25, 25a, 25b) and a motor (1, 1a, 1b) are integrated so as to line up
in an axial direction of said motor, wherein:
said inverter module (25, 25a, 25b) is configured into a single member in which are integrated:
a power portion that comprises an inverter (26a, 26b); and a control portion that comprises a microcomputer (29); and said motor (1, 1a, 1b) comprises: a rotor (2); a stator (5); and
a pair of housings (12, 12a, 15, 15b, 21, 41) that comprise bearings (14, 17) that support a shaft (4) of said rotor (2), characterized in that said inverter module (25, 25a, 25b) is a molded body in which said power portion and said control portion are integrated;
said inverter module (25, 25b) is mounted to a surface at a non-output end of a housing (15, 15b), of said pair of housings (12, 12a, 15, 15b, 21, 41), that has a bearing (17) that supports an output end of said shaft (4); and
said inverter (26a, 26b) is exposed from a molded resin portion (34) of said inverter module (25, 25a, 25b), and a surface of said inverter (26a, 26b) that is exposed from said molded resin portion (34) contacts said surface at said non-output end of said housing (12a, 15, 15b) to which said inverter module (25, 25a, 25b) is mounted.
2. The inverter-integrated motor (100, 101, 102) as claimed in Claim 1,
wherein a first housing (21, 41) of said pair of housings (12, 12a, 15, 15b, 21,

41) is produced so as to have a cylindrical shape with a floor, said stator (5) being disposed inside said first housing (21, 41).
3. The inverter-integrated motor (100, 101, 102) as claimed in Claim 1 or 2, wherein a thermally conductive member (22) is disposed between said surface of said inverter (26a, 26b) that is exposed from said molded resin portion (34) and said surface at said non-output end of said housing (12a, 15b).
4. The inverter-integrated motor (100, 101, 102) as claimed in any one of Claims 1 through 3, further comprising:
a rotation sensor detecting portion (32, 36) that is disposed on said inverter module (25, 25a, 25b); and
a rotation sensor detected portion (20, 37) that is disposed on said rotor (2).
5. The inverter-integrated motor (100, 101, 102) as claimed in any one
of Claims 1 through 4, wherein terminals (11a, 11b, 33a, 33d) of a stator coil
(7) of said stator (5) and said inverter module (25a) are joined together by
press-fitting.
