Abstract: [0022] The present invention provides an involute housing assembly (100) for air cooler. The housing (100) includes an upper body (110) having a flat front surface (120), a flat back surface (130) and curved side surfaces (140a, 140b), a first opening (110a) at centre of the upper body (110) to accommodate a blower (150), and a lower body (160) fastened to the upper body (110), wherein the lower body (160) includes a flat front portion (170), curved side portions (180a, 180b) and a back portion (190), a second opening (160a) at centre of the lower body (160) to accommodate a blower (150) wherein axis of the first opening (110a) and second opening (190a) are same, wherein the back portion (190) includes an indent (190a) to accommodate a protrusion of the upper body flat back surface (130) for locking the housing assembly (100).

Claims:1. An involute housing assembly (100) for air cooler, the housing assembly (100) comprises:
an upper body (110) having
a flat front surface (120), a flat back surface (130) and curved side surfaces (140a, 140b);
a first opening (110a) at centre of the upper body (110) to accommodate a blower (150);
and
a lower body (160) fastened to the upper body (110), wherein the lower body (160) includes
a flat front portion (170), curved side portions (180a, 180b) and a back portion (190);
a second opening (160a) at center of the lower body to accommodate a blower (150) wherein axis of the first and second opening are same;
wherein the back portion (190) includes an indent (190a) to accommodate a protrusion of the upper body flat back surface (130) for locking the housing.

2. The housing assembly of claim 1 wherein the upper body (110) and lower body (160) engage with each other in a compact configuration to accommodate the air blower (150).

3. The housing assembly of claim 2 wherein the upper body (110) includes a plurality of engaging means (125) configured for locking the housing assembly (100).

4. The housing assembly of claim 2 wherein the lower body (160) includes a plurality of receiving means (125a) configured for locking the housing (100).

5. The housing assembly of claim 4 wherein the plurality of engaging means (125) are channels integrated on the upper body (110) and the receiving means (125a) are positioned to be aligned to each other for screwing.

The following description provides specific details of certain embodiments of the invention illustrated in the drawings to provide a thorough understanding of those embodiments. [0016] Referring to Fig. 1, an involute housing assembly (100) for air cooler is provided in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. The housing assembly (100) includes an upper body (110) having a flat front surface (120), a flat back surface (130) and curved side surfaces (140a, 140b). The upper body (110) includes a first opening (110a) at centre of the upper body (110) to accommodate a blower (150). The housing (100) includes a lower body (160) fastened to the upper body (110), where the lower body (160) includes a flat front portion (170), curved side portions (180a, 180b) and a back portion (190). The lower body (160) includes a second opening (160a) at centre of the lower body (160) to accommodate the blower (150) where axis of the first and second opening are same. The back portion (190) includes an indent (190a) to accommodate a protrusion of the upper body flat back surface (130) for locking the housing (100).

[0017] In an embodiment, the upper body (110) and lower body (160) engage with each other in a compact configuration to accommodate the air blower (150).

[0018] In an embodiment, the upper body (110) includes a plurality of engaging means (125) configured for locking the housing assembly (100) as shown in Fig. 1a.

[0019] In an embodiment, the lower body (160) includes a plurality of receiving means (125a) configured for locking the involute housing (100) as shown in Fig. 1b.
