Iot And Cloud Based Voice Based Smart Automation System Using Google Assistant

Abstract: IoT and Cloud based voice based smart automation system using Google- Assistant Abstract: Home automation systems make our lives easier and more comfortable by connecting to IoT. Data can be exchanged between devices and they can be viewed or operated from any location at any time. A variety of technological devices can be used to remotely control various aspects of a home. We will demonstrate how to use "Google Assistant" voice recognition software to realize the concept of voice-controlled home automation in this paper. Other voice-activated home automation systems do not allow for remote control of appliances, but the system under consideration does. The reason for this is that we use the internet to communicate with the system that controls our appliances. The Google Assistant accepts and processes voice commands. Adafruit IO is paired with "IFTTT," an application for creating virtual switches, to create simple conditional statements. It has been linked to Google Assistant voice commands via IFTTT statements. Wi-Fi, in particular, is used for all device-to-device communication. When a command is sent to the Google Assistant, the "NodeMCU" attached to it decodes it and sends it to the relays that are linked to it. As a result, relay-connected gadgets and appliances can be turned on and off at the user's discretion.

, Description:Descriptions:
A home automation system comprised of sensors, actuators, and controllers must be installed based on the needs of each individual homeowner. The "Internet of Things" (IoT) is a new technology that connects hardware devices and software applications via a network. The majority of the time, the Internet of Things is used to automate homes. Greater productivity can be achieved with less effort thanks to automation. Controlling home automation with NodeMCU is one example of how the Internet of Things has been used to effectively control devices in a variety of areas. Because the proposed system is based on voice activation, the microphone will only be able to recognize the user's voice if speech recognition technology improves to or exceeds the current level. As a result, the microphone recognizes the person's or user's speech and sends it to the recognizing module for processing. As a result, that word is then used to determine whether or not there have been any noises or other issues. Depending on whether or not the command entered is correct, action will be taken. You can control all of your home's appliances from a distance with the help of a home automation system. Home automation is another technology that saves time for the user. It is difficult for the disabled and elderly to access the switchboard in order to turn on and off the appliances. They can operate their appliances while sitting in one place by using a convenient voice-activated home automation system. A Wi-Fi-enabled microcontroller called NodeMCU is used to access and control devices or household appliances via a smartphone and the Google Assistant. A virtual assistant based on Artificial Intelligence can operate apps running on a user's computer or mobile device. "Ok Google" is the most common way to begin a conversation with the Google Assistant. Assistant can use Google Accounts to perform tasks such as setting alarms, conducting web searches, configuring hardware, and more. This capability is available even on the most recent Android phones. By speaking into the device's microphone, Google Assistant can be used to control smart devices and applications. Because IFTTT is used to add voice commands to Google Assistant, data is parsed and processed to determine if the voice command is intended for IFTTT. The microcontroller now searches for an appliance connected to a relay and activates it immediately. Wi-Fi is used to connect the microcontroller and the app. Because of the massive growth in home automation applications, the Internet of Things (IoT) technology is becoming more efficient and can be operated from any location by simply sitting at a computer. In order for these Internet of Things devices to function, no human intervention is required. Increased home security also reduces energy consumption, creating a win-win situation for all. Home automation systems, on the other hand, can accommodate new appliances because they can be controlled from a remote location. These Internet of Things devices help people simplify, ease, and improve accuracy in their daily lives and jobs.
