Iot And Pir Sensor Gesture Based Smart Switch Board Device

Abstract: Aim/Purpose: The aim of this invention is to prevent people from infectious diseases like staph infection, Impetigo, Hand, Foot and Mouth Diseases (HFMD), Scabies, Chicken Pox etc. with the help of maintaining social distancing and no touch approach. Outcome: The outcome of this invention shows that social distancing and no touch approach is very essential in the prevention of infectious diseases. To work in this direction, “Hidden Switch Boards are invented on the principle of the sensor. It detects the infrared radiations emitting from human beings. It gets open when the living object is near to the range and gets close as we get away. Methodology/Approach/Design: This research works on the secondary data presented by WHO and various countries which shows that infectious diseases are occurred and spread by direct touch. Novelty: The research is not copied from anywhere and it is very novel in the nature. Generalizability: This idea can be generalized in any phenomena and will not be change in the commercialisation. Type of Research: This type of research is applied research where the researcher has tried to give the solution of the immediate problems by which society is suffering.

Claims

1. The microcontroller Arduino is used to fulfil the objective and the PIR sensor is used to detect the living things in front of switch board there is a motor driver which drives the mechanism backward and forward and the whole mechanism is automatic.

2. It provides the safety to the user it keeps away children from the danger there is audio command-based child lock which help to take away from children that is voice recognition feature to save the children.

3. There is no need to multiple switches it will be compact and smart looking by using different hand gesture, the switch board will work accordingly the hand gesture.

4. The whole mechanism is fully water proof one can clean wash and their walls.

5. There will be no need to install multiple smart application based on voice recognition like ‘Alexa’ and ‘Google Assistant’ it has inbuild voice recognition feature and gesture sensor for make the customer life easy and convenient.

Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION:
The present invention “IOT AND PIR SENSOR GESTURE BASED SMART SWITCH BOARD DEVICE” also known as "Hidden Smart Switch Board" is based on the principle of sensor that detects the infrared radiation emitting from living thing only on switch board enable to switched on or off function in electrical equipment. This invention focuses on the Zero-Touching concept and reducing the spread of virus occurred due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
To make it functional, the concept bearing certain parts such as firstly (i) Arduino Uno board - the Arduino UNO is the best board to get started with electronics. Arduino/Genuino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328P (datasheet). The board has 14 digital I/O pins (six capable output), and 6 Analog I/O pins, and is programmable with the Arduino UNO. Arduino consists of both: a physical programmable circuit board and a piece of software, or IDE. Secondly, (ii) L293D Motor driver – L293D is a basic motor driver integrated chip (IC) that enables to drive a DC motor in either direction and also control the speed of the motor. The L293D is a 16-pin IC with 8 pins on each side, allowing us to control the motor. It means that we can use a single L293D to run up to two DC motors, in L293D there are 2 OUTPUT pins, 2 INPUT pins, and 1 ENABLE pin for driving each motor. It is designed to drive inductive loads such as solenoids, relays, DC motors, bipolar stepper motors, and other high-current/high-voltage loads, followed by thirdly (iii) PIR sensor – PIR sensors allow to sense motion, almost always used to detect whether a human has moved in or out of the sensors range. They are small, inexpensive, low-power, easy to use, and don't wear out. For that reason, they are commonly found in appliances and gadgets used in homes or businesses. They are often referred to as PIR, "Passive Infrared", "Pyroelectric", or "IR motion" sensors. Coming to the fourth requirement i.e., (iv) 12V 1 Amp Adapter - One ampere of current represents one coulomb of electrical charge, i.e., 6.24×1018 charge carriers, moving in one second. In other words, an ampere is the amount of current produced by the force of one volt acting through a resistance of one OHM. A Professional 12 Volt DC 1 Amp power supply is suitable for powering a wide range of applications including CCTV cameras and wireless routers. So, here considering 100% Brand New Excellent Quality Short Circuit, Over Voltage & Current Protection for this work. Lastly, (v) Jumper wires – the role of Jumper wires used here for making connections between items on breadboard and Arduino's header pins, use them to wire up all your circuits. The type of jumper wires here used is ‘male-to-male’, ‘male-to-female’ and ‘female-to-female’. The difference between each is in the endpoint of the wire. Male ends have a pin protruding and can plug into things, while female ends do not and are used to plug things into. Male-to-male jumper wires are the most common and will be used most often. When connecting two ports on a breadboard, a male-to-male wire is what needs.

WORKING MODULE:

STEP 1: The main component is Arduino Uno software to connect the L293D motor driver Arduino Uno has 14 digital pins and 6 analogue pins so they are supplying power to Arduino Uno with a 12-volt 1 amp adapter.

STEP 2: Using analogue pin AO to connect the PIR sensor. The ground and VCC pin of the PIR sensor is connected to 3 volts and the GND pin of Arduino.

STEP 3: That is connecting Input 1 or Input 2 pin of the motor driver to digital pin 2 and 3 the VCC and GND pin of L293D motor driver connected to vin and GND pin of Arduino.

STEP 4: The positive and negative terminal of the CD loader is connected to pins of the motor driving pin A motor driver. So, the product is designed accordingly and coded in Arduino UNO software.

STEP 5: uploading code in Arduino Uno through a data cable. After successfully uploading the code, the module will work accordingly.
