, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to garbage monitoring. The present invention more particularly relates to an IOT -based garbage system for efficient food waste management.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Garbage Monitoring is a huge problem in maximum cities all over the world, without proper management of waste which cause a major factor for environmental pollution resulting in several health issues. In the traditional system, the garbage use to be collected in a manual way. The workers who have to collect the garbage are unable to get proper information when would the bins are filled with a particular area, so they use to fix some timings for collecting the wastage. Due to this sometimes the bins may be filled and overflowed and causes unhygienic conditions leading to pollution. In the traditional system, the municipalities use to follow the manual way for collecting the garbage from the particular cities, transportation and segregation of waste and disposal of wastage. As population is increasing day to day, it is also reflected on the waste dumped by them. Due to improper maintenance of the garbage bins and the disposal of wastage is not done on time which is reflected in major health issues in the cities. A lot of fuel is wasted by the transportation if the truck frequently visits the bin if the bin is not completely filled. As all the waste is dumped into a single bin, there would be different types of materials which cause in chemical reactions with one another and causes severe pollution around the bin.
Some of the useful items such as metals and so on are also wasted because of these chemical reactions that go on in the bin. Due to a lot of pollutions is taking place in air, land, soils and water, which in cause reflected in the health issues of the human where a lot of people are getting infected with several diseases caused due to the environmental pollution every year.
The prior art systems are with the container and is divided into three levels of garbage being collected in it. Every time the garbage crosses a level, the sensors receives the data of the filled level. This data is further sent to the garbage analyzer as instant message using GSM module. The comparison is done with help of microcontroller. After analyzing the image an idea about level of garbage in the can and weight of garbage can be known. Accordingly information is processed that is controller checks if the threshold level is exceeded or not. This is convenient to use but economically not reliable.
So there is a need for an economically reliable system for IOT -based garbage system for efficient food waste management. The present invention are the bins with ultrasonic sensor for detecting the levels of waste in the bin and forwarding all the information to GSM module attached to the monitoring system in the website. Segregation of waste is done with a moisture sensor which will sense the type on the moisture level and segregate it automatically. The trucks will get automatic information of wastage they are going to receive. The present invention will help in making city, villages clean and hygienic.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
An object of the present invention is to provide an IOT -based garbage system for efficient food waste management.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a system for detecting the levels of waste in the bin and forwarding all the information to GSM module attached to the monitoring system in the website.
Yet another object of the present invention is to make the city, village clean and hygienic and to stop the environmental pollution produced due to waste.
Other objects and benefits of the present invention will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to bind the scope of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH RESPECT TO DRAWINGS:
The present invention provides an IOT -based garbage system for efficient food waste management. The present invention is a system for detecting the levels of waste in the bin and forwarding all the information to GSM module attached to the monitoring system in the website. The present invention helps to make the city, village clean and hygienic and to stop the environmental pollution produced due to waste.
In one embodiment, an IOT -based garbage system for efficient food waste management is disclosed. The bins are with ultrasonic sensor for detecting the levels of waste in the bin and forwarding all the information to GPS module attached to the monitoring system in the website. Segregation of waste is done with a moisture sensor which will sense the type on the moisture level and segregate it automatically. The trucks will get automatic information of wastage they are going to receive.
In another embodiment, the vehicles are tracked with a GPS technology and the users are attached to a Central Garbage Monitoring which send the information of garbage to the website which shows the levels of the garbage in the form of levels and also the forwarding of messages using GPS technology from time to time.
Smart bin is an advanced bin which is attached with an ultrasonic sensor for detecting the level of wastage and it is also attached with GPS for identifying the particular user which is connected to the garbage monitoring system present in the database and also to the Vehicle carrying the garbage. When the vehicle get filled, it will send an alert to the garbage monitoring system and Vehicle, so the garbage will be disposed on time into the vehicles.
The vehicles are attached with a GPS enables and also they are connected with smart bins. Whenever they get an alert from the smart bin from a particular area, they get into the ready state, simultaneously they got the instruction from the central monitoring the go and pick up the garbage before the bin is filled.
In another embodiment, the Vehicles (dust bins) are attached to the automatic segregation, whenever the bin posts the waste in vehicle, it will segregate using a moisture sensor which is attached in the vehicle into different types, so that it will dump the garbage accordingly.
Garbage Monitoring system plays a major role for controlling all the entities that are connected to retrieving the information from the Bins that the details of the particular user, how much the user dumped and also controlling the bin wherever it is filled sending an alert for the nearby vehicle.
An ultrasonic sensor is an instrument that measures the distance to an object using ultrasonic sound waves. An ultrasonic sensor uses a transducer to send and receive ultrasonic pulses that relay back information about an object’s proximity. High-frequency sound waves reflect from boundaries to produce distinct echo patterns.
Ultrasonic sensors work by sending out a sound wave at a frequency above the range of human hearing. The transducer of the sensor acts as a microphone to receive and send the ultrasonic sound. Ultrasonic sensors use a single transducer to send a pulse and to receive the echo. The sensor determines the distance to a target by measuring time lapses between the sending and receiving of the ultrasonic pulse. It sends an ultrasonic pulse which travels through the air and if there is an obstacle or object, it will bounce back to the sensor. By calculating the travel time and the speed of sound, the distance can be calculated.
The system for efficient food waste management comprising of;
e. Detecting the levels of waste in the dust bin using ultrasonic sensor;
f. Transferring all the information to GPS module attached to garbage monitoring system present in the website;
g. Segregating all the waste based on moisture level automatically; and
h. Receiving automatic information of the waste to the vehicles.
