Iot Based Implement Used For Seed Sowing And For Weeding

Abstract: ABSTRACT IoT BASED IMPLEMENT USED FOR SEED SOWING AND FOR WEEDING There are many implements used in agriculture for weeding and seed sowing viz. Khurpi, Khurpa, Pickaxe, Kudali, Spade, Mattock. While weeding farmers need to bend down and apply manpower to pluck weeds which causes high drudgery and stress on labor. Buying different implements for different practices can cost you a lot of money and space but this tool can perform two functions that too automatically without any stress. Traditional farming requires the use of hand tools such as a hoe to make the planting row and to cover the plant seeds. This requires the gardener to continuously bend over to place each individual seed in the planting row causing fatigue and strain to the farmers muscles. As fatigue or pain intensifies, the farmer gradually assumes a more upright posture, reducing the accuracy of seed placement and weed removal and spacing thereby compromising growing conditions. As a result, it is desirable to have an agriculture tool that eliminates the farmers’ need to bend over for accurate placement and planting of seeds.

Description:Title of The Invention
IoT based implement used for seed sowing and for weeding
Field of the Invention
This invention relates to IoT based implement used for seed sowing and for weeding
Background of the Invention
US1954250A: A reciprocating weed and grass cutting tool comprising, a hoe having divergent blades provided with cutting edges and spaced notches in said edges for cutting upon a forward movement of the hoe, fiat cutting blades at the rear ends of said diverging blades for cutting and slicing upon a rearward movement of said hoe, and fiat runners formed on the undersides of both blades, the rear cutting blades being inclined upwardly from the divergent blades.
US200610162629A1: A garden tool for planting seeds, comprising an elongate hollow cylinder through which a seed passes, a hopper attached to the first end of the cylinder through which the seed is dropped, an adjustable collar attached to the second end of the cylinder for measuring planting depth and, optionally, distance between planted seeds, a flange or hoe blade for furrowing or digging a planting row and for covering a planted seed, and optionally, an internal tray located in the hopper for holding seeds.
None of the prior art indicate above either alone or in combination with one another disclose what the present invention has disclosed. Present invention is IoT based implement used for seed sowing and for weeding implements used in agriculture for weeding and seed sowing viz. Khurpi, Khurpa, Pickaxe, Kudali, Spade, Mattock. For weeding we need different tools and for seed sowing we need different tools.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
This summary is provided to introduce a selection of concepts, in a simplified format, that are further described in the detailed description of the invention. This summary is neither intended to identify key or essential inventive concepts of the invention and nor is it intended for determining the scope of the invention.
To further clarify advantages and features of the present invention, a more particular description of the invention will be rendered by reference to specific embodiments thereof, which is illustrated in the appended drawings. It is appreciated that these drawings depict only typical embodiments of the invention and are therefore not to be considered limiting of its scope. The invention will be described and explained with additional specificity and detail with the accompanying drawings.
Traditional farming requires the use of hand tools such as a hoe to make the planting row and to cover the plant seeds. This requires the gardener to continuously bend over to place each individual seed in the planting row causing fatigue and strain to the farmers’ muscles.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The illustrated embodiments of the subject matter will be understood by reference to the drawings, wherein like parts are designated by like numerals throughout. The following description is intended only by way of example, and simply illustrates certain selected embodiments of devices, systems, and methods that are consistent with the subject matter as claimed herein, wherein:
A wee digger is an automated machine or tool which can perform two operations (weeding and seed sowing), controlled by switches with the help of motors ie. Stepper and Servo motor by taking power from rechargeable battery. The implementation comprises of:
• Two half-conical, curved iron pieces sharped at the top of length 20 cm.
• Two metal rods of same size ie.90 cm, connected with curved iron pieces.
• A prop joint to join two metal rods for their free horizontal movement.
• A stepper and servo motor for digging hole and removing weed, joined with iron rods.
• A rechargeable battery to provide power to motors.
• Switches to on/off motor.
The figures depict embodiments of the present subject matter for the purposes of illustration only. A person skilled in the art will easily recognize from the following description that alternative embodiments of the structures and methods illustrated herein may be employed without departing from the principles of the disclosure described herein.
