Io T Based Smart Voting System Through Facial Recognition Using Open Cv

Abstract: IoT Based Smart Voting System through Facial Recognition using open CV Abstract: Right now, there are two ways to vote in India. Right now, they use paper ballots and electronic voting machines. Each has its own set of limitations and disadvantages that must be considered. However, this system has a slew of other flaws. Many people are unable to vote because they must travel to the polling place and wait in line for several hours for several polling places to open up so they can vote. We tried out a new way to vote for the first time when we wrote this paper. Our system divides the voting process into three stages for safety reasons. Facial recognition is used to validate an individual's Election ID (EID) number, and the individual's registered cell phone number is used to generate a One-Time Password (OTP).

, Description:DESCRIPTIONS

Science and technology have enabled us to live more comfortably than previous generations. Because of new ideas in fuzzy shortest path and wireless sensor network architectures, computer languages, neural networks, and image processing, people are creating products that are more self-healing and intelligent. There are numerous applications for smart cities that are based on the Internet of Things and the Internet of Everything. These include water-saving apps and smart water grids that make parking easier, among other things. Today's voting system is time-consuming and resource-intensive. It primarily employs machines and paper ballots. This voting system has flaws because people must manually count each vote, which is also a flaw of the system. The most recent voting system has resulted in the use of ballet machines, which display symbols for various political parties. When we select the option with a political party symbol, the game is over. Voters may use forged voting cards to cast ballots, which could be dangerous. To vote now, one must travel a long distance to the electoral district. It is critical that the election be completed in one day so that less manpower is required to maintain law and order. People can vote at a specific time and location. On the day of the election, voters would have at least eight hours to cast their ballots. We want to create an interactive voting system that allows people to contribute to the creation of an Aadhar ID using information already in the database. If you are an Indian citizen over the age of 18 and do not wish to vote in person, you can vote entirely online. When a user logs into the system, the voter ID and picture stored in the database are used to ensure that they are who they claim to be. Because of this advancement, it will be possible to create a secure website that includes all of the ways people can vote. This paper discussed intelligent web-based voting applications. They are more effective at keeping people safe than the current system, which is less effective. On the day of the election, people in India must enter their Aadhar number and date of birth into a computer system. This information will be compared to voter information already stored in the system. Facial detection and recognition are also being discussed as technologies that could be used in the future. Every vote will be automatically counted and cast in secret as soon as the polls open. This will increase voter turnout, reduce election costs, and improve the accuracy of the results. - We also intend to use an OTP and an Election Id Number to ensure that voters are who they claim to be. To complete this process, voters must enter their Aadhar number, which serves as their user ID, as well as their birth date (as password). If their credentials match those of other people in the database, they can vote on the same day. You will receive an OTP (One Time Password) via text message. You must enter the OTP that was sent to your cell phone. By entering their OTP, the user demonstrates that they have the right to vote. Each candidate will have a "Vote" button, and their name will be displayed on the screen based on the voter's location. To vote for their favourite person, all a voter has to do is press the "vote" button. When the user has finished voting, the voter's app will log them out.
