Abstract: We have introduced IV Fluid measurement system in Critical Care area to monitor the exact induced drug per hour inside the patient or if any blockages or any one induced the drug inside the patient without calculating flow rate per hour then our system indicates proper alarm with different color LED Indicator. This whole scenario we can wirelessly monitor using RMD Software., 1.Can be monitored exact fluid in ml/hr., 2.Can be monitored drug name , 3.Check the trend as per doctor requirement ,4.Can be monitored Alarms of blockages & others alarm,5.Integrated with RMD,HIS, 6.Wireless connectivity.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[501] The present invention generally relates to the field of medical devices. The invention particularly relates to an iv fluid measurement system.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[502] A number of different types of devices are available in the prior art. However, they are having many shortcomings including expensive apparatus arrangement; and complex in nature.
[503] The present application addresses the above-mentioned concerns and shortcomings (and other similar concerns/shortcomings) with regard to providing an improved solution with improved properties.
[504] There remains a constant need in society for a continuous flow of new and innovative novelty methods and systems for manufacturing solutions with improved properties. It is in this context that the subject invention is useful, not only to provide cheap and easy to use but to provide solutions with improved properties.
OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION
1. The object of the invention is to provide an IV fluid measurement system.
2. It is another object of the present invention to develop an IV Fluid measurement system in Critical Care area to monitor the exact induced drug per hour to the patient or if any blockages or any one induced the drug inside the patient without calculating flow rate per hour then our system indicates proper alarm with different color LED Indicator.
3. Yet another object of invention is to develop an IV fluid measurement system that can wirelessly monitor this whole scenario using suitable software.
4. In this respect, before explaining at least one embodiment of the invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of construction and to the arrangements of the components set forth in the following description.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[509] The IV injection goes directly into a patient's vein, the only limit on the amount of fluid that can be administered via an IV is the limit on the amount of fluid a person's body can consume without receiving more liquid than the body can absorb. Limits on a patient's fluid intake should be indicated by the doctor based on a patient's condition, but for a normal healthy adult, the normal range of total fluid intake (coming from IV fluids) should be 35-50 mL/kg body weight/day.
[510] Complications related to the regulation of fluids include giving too much fluid too rapidly, causing fluid overload. Fluid overload usually implies a degree of pulmonary edema or peripheral edema.
[511] The present invention relates to an iv fluid measurement system wherein said system is used in Critical Care area to monitor the exact induced drug per hour to the patient or if any blockages or any one induced the drug inside the patient without calculating flow rate per hour then the system indicates proper alarm with different color LED Indicator.
[512] The IV fluid measurement system can wirelessly monitor this whole scenario using suitable software.
Following is the possible method of using the invented system:
1. A saline bottle with a volume of 500 mL is placed on a stand.
2. The infusion set is connected at the opposite end of the bottle.
3. The load cell is connected to the machine for detecting the liquid level of the bottle.
4. The machine (as per requirement) is set to drain 50ml of fluid for 1 hour.
5. When the quantity is set through the membrane switch the buzzer gets activated.
6. The LCD displays system parameters such as the weight of the ?uid drained.
