Abstract: The present Invention is a L.P.G. auto booking and monitoring system. When Domestic L.P.G. cylinder goes to critical level the system will automatically dial up the gas agency number to auto book another refill using GSM modem. The system is basically a trolley fitted with load sensor, LPG cylinder is placed on it and it continuously weigh the LPG cylinder and when weight of the cylinder reaches a critical level the system either do a telephonic call and generate DTMF tones or simply sends message to respective Gas agency to book another refill. The L.P.G. cylinder fuel level can be remotely monitored on a mobile application via Bluetooth or wireless communication.
FIELD OF INVENTION:
The invention relates to a smart LPG trolley which can auto book the gas cylinder refill when
fuel level goes to a critical level. The System continuously weigh the LPG cylinder and when
fuel reaches to critical level it automatically dials up or send message to Gas agency to auto book
another refill using GSM technology. The system can show a real time fuel data on a remote
mobile application using either Bluetooth or wireless communication.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION:
In present days we are too much associated with professional life that we don't have much time
to take either rest or diet. People usually forget to book their L.P.G. cylinder refill in time. They
have no idea exactly when LPG fuel will finish.
US patent 6513373 shows a suspension support with volume indication for a L.P.G. tank but not
include a smart auto booking system.
JPH patent 01178022 shows a mechanism of displaying fuel quantity using hydraulic cylinder
and it also don't provide a smart auto booking system.
CN patent 87208149 discloses a hydraulic weighing type display for tanked L.P.G. using a
pressure measuring tube and doesn't provide cylinder auto booking
IND patent 2256/CHE/2006 uses a pressure gauge to indicate the remaining gas level but it
doesn't provide auto booking facility.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION:
The object of the invention provide a time saving smart automatic system for domestic L.P.G.
Cylinder auto booking and monitoring.
The L.P.G. cylinder will be placed on smart trolley. The smart trolley fitted with load sensor
weigh the L.P.G. Cylinder .The system can dial up the GAS agency when fuel reaches to critical
level. The real time fuel level can be visualize on remote mobile application either using
Bluetooth or wireless communication.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The invention is.basically smart L.P.G. trolley. The L.P.G. cylinder is placed on it. The trolley is
capable of doing telephonic call and sending message to respective Gas agency to auto book
another refill when fuel is about to finish. The system can also forecast real time fuel
measurement data to a remote mobile application via. Bluetooth or wireless communication.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION:
The invention consist of four basic fundamental units,
i.e.
(1) Digital Load Weighing and Amplifying Section
(2) The Processing Unit
(3) The communication Unit
(4) The power supply Unit
1. Digital Load Weighing and Amplifying Section
In digital weighing section two half bridge load sensors are fitted in circular disc which act as the
base station to place the L.P.G. cylinder as in Fig. 1.
In amplifying unit the load sensor output signal is fed to a operational amplifier used as
differential amplifier and then signal is amplified using another operational amplifier. Signal is
then fed to microcontroller analog pin.
2. The Processing Unit
The processing unit consist of a microcontroller that read the load sensor amplified signal.
According to the weight of L.P.G. cylinder it takes necessary actions. The processing unit
continuously reads the load sensors signal and transfer data to communication unit. When the gas
level reaches a critical level it commands the communication unit to dial up the gas agency
number.
3. The communication Unit
The communication unit comprises of GSM modem, Bluetooth module and wireless module. All
these communication devices are hooked up with processing unit. In general case either the
Bluetooth or wireless modem continuously transfer data to remote mobile application. But it
critical case means when L.P.G. fuel level reaches the critical level the system uses GSM modem
to automatically dial up the gas agency number and generate DTMF(Dual Tone Mobile
Frequency) tones to book the LPG refill or simply sends message to gas agency to book refill.
4. The power supply Unit
Power Supply unit is used to power up the system. Its input voltage is 12v DC . It consist of two
voltage regulator of 5v and 12v. 12v power supply is to power up the GSM modem while 5v is to
power up the digital load sensor, amplifier, microcontroller, Bluetooth and wireless modem.
Power Supply unit also have a 12v DC rechargeable battery to provide continuous power in case
of external power failure.
The invention illustrated in the
accompanying drawings throughout which like reference numbers indicate corresponding parts
in various figure.
Figure 1 shows the complete system. A LPG cylinder is placed on the trolley.
Figure 2 shows the complete inner parts of the automatic LPG booking and monitoring system
Part (100) is the processing unit
Part (101) and (102) is the Bluetooth and wireless modem respectively .
Part (103) is the antenna for communication
Part (104) is the GSM modem.
Part (105) and (107) are the voltage regulators of power supply unit.
Part (106) is the input socket for 12v DC power.
Figure 3 shows there push buttons which are connected to processing unit( 100). Pushbuttons
are used to select different options for operation of this system.
CLAIMS:
I claim,
1. A L.P.G. Cylinder Auto booking and monitoring System consist of Digital Weighing and
Amplifying unit, the processing Unit, the communication Unit and Power Supply Unit.
2. In claim 1 the Digital weighing and Amplifying Unit fitted to gas trolley consist of half
bridge load sensor and operational amplifier as differential amplifier.
3: In claim 1 the processing unit process the digital load sensor data and command the
communication unit when fuel level reaches critical level.
4. In claim 1 the communication unit consist of GSM modem, Bluetooth modem and
wireless modem. GSM modem is to dial up gas agency number when fuel is about to
finish. Either Bluetooth or Wireless continuously transfer data to a remote mobile
application to real time monitor the fuel level of L.P.G. cylinder.
5. All the Parts are fitted in a single gas trolley. The trolley act as a base for gas cylinder as
in fig. 1.
6. Three pushbutton are used to take user input and to select different mode of operation of
the L.P.G. auto booking system
