Laminated Ceramic Based Composite Material And Method For Its Production
Abstract: The present invention relates to a laminated ceramic based composite and a method of producing the same. In the composite of the present invention, two or more ceramic layers of similar or different grades are sealed using glass as the interfacial layer. In particular, the glass sealant is prepared by slurry casting or tape casting process to maintain the thickness uniformity within ±5 µm to ±10 µm. Figure 1
