Abstract: LIFTING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING PATIENT TO OR FROM HOSPITAL BED ABSTRACT A lifting system (100) for transferring a patient to or from a hospital bed (102) is disclosed. The lifting system (100) comprises a specialized platform (104) tailored to comfortably accommodate the patient. A set of rollers (106a-106n) is integrated to facilitate seamless movement of the platform (104), enabling efficient patient transfer. The key innovation lies in the incorporation of a user-friendly handle (108) mechanism, which initiates the rolling motion of the set of rollers (106a-106n). The lifting system (100) addresses the challenges associated with manual patient transfers, providing a safe, efficient, and ergonomic solution for healthcare professionals.
