Specification

DESC:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a carriable conveyer apparatus more particularly for transferring harvested soft materials from a harvester into a storage container, for which purpose a conveyor designed as a lightweight unit and capable to transfer at a right angle or any desired angle/direction from the harvesting chamber to the storage container.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
A conveyor system is used in many industries as a standard piece of mechanical handling apparatus to move goods, products, raw goods, and other materials from one location to another. These kinds of conveyor systems allow for quick and efficient transportation of a materials and products as well as being able to move heavy items which make them popular in the material handling and packaging industries as well as the manufacturing industries.

Similar to manufacturing industries, the conveyors also used for collecting harvested tree, bush or vine grown crops such as currants, berries, grapes or any other produce grown on trees, or standing bushes or vines.

Conveyors for receiving and/or conveying objects delivered from above are well known, but it is a drawback with such known conveyors that they often do not catch the majority of the objects being delivered. Thus, when the conveyors are mounted on a machine such as a harvester which moves over the ground, the conveyors, which act as catcher conveyors for harvested fruit, usually do not catch all the harvested fruit which can result in a loss of as much as 50% of the crop. The below prior art addresses the above drawbacks.

The prior art US4176511A discloses about an endless conveyor which has a plurality of individual conveying elements which are slidably movable to an extended position laterally of the conveying direction during a conveying run of the conveyor. When the conveyor is mounted on a harvester for harvesting the crop of a row of bushes, vines or canes, the individual elements in their extended position extend below crop dislodging means of the harvester and catch the crop and convey it to a collecting station and this avoids waste. In order to prevent the conveyor from fouling obstacles such as a plant or post during harvesting, there is a device for maintaining the linear speed of the conveyor zero relative to the ground.

But the above prior is not addressing the below requirements.
• There is a need for a conveyer to transport soft materials like flower, tender tea shoots…etc.
• There is a need for optimized weight and design to move the harvester in the variable terrain condition.
• Further, the prime mover should not consume much power for carrying the conveyer apparatus.
The proposed patent is designed for addressing all of the above requirements.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
An object of the invention is to provide a carriable conveyer apparatus for transferring the soft materials.

Another object of the invention is to provide an adaptable and carriable conveyer apparatus is capable to attach with agriculture harvesting machines.

Another object of the invention is to make the conveyer apparatus lightweight to enable efficient operation with less energy requirements.

Yet another object of the invention is to provide an integrated unit which permits the harvested material to be moved in right angle or desired angle.

Yet another object of the invention is to provide an apparatus which allows the harvested soft material to be deposited into a storage container safely.

Yet another object of the invention is to provide a lightweight conveyer configuration thus eliminates the requirements of high pulling force and corresponding fuel/power requirements.

Further object of the invention is to provide a comb shaped flexible member configuration which physically interacts with the harvested soft materials to safely transfer to the storage container.

The main features of the invention is a flexible contact members sequentially arranged to form a comb shaped structure which is attached with a first and second conveyers for enabling physical contact with the harvested soft materials. The first conveyer being actuated in a pitch axis by means of a vane pump inspired actuator to move the harvested soft materials towards a first direction. A second conveyers fixed next to the first conveyer includes at least two comb shaped structures, each being enabled alternatively in a roll axis by means of a cyclic actuator towards the second decided direction thereby safely transferring the harvested soft materials in the right angle or decided angle.

Still further objects of the invention reside in the provision of a novel lightweight right angle transferring conveyor apparatus and a configuration for transferring articles using comb shaped flexible members which is relatively easy to operate and is inexpensive to manufacture. Further the lightweight configuration makes the apparatus capable to attach with agriculture implements.

These together with the various ancillary objects and features will become apparent as the following description proceeds, are attained by this invention, preferred embodiments being shown in the accompanying drawings, by way of example only, wherein:
