Abstract: The present invention relates to a liner actuator. A guide block (68) for constituting a guide mechanism (16) has a pair of ball circulation grooves (71) formed in the lower surface of the guide block (68) the lower surface facing a cylinder body (12) and balls (56) are mounted in the ball circulation groove (71). A pair of cover blocks (70a 70b) are respectively mounted to the opposite end surfaces of the guide block (68) and the base section (92) of a cover plate (72) consisting of a plate material is mounted to the lower part of the guide block (68) to thereby retain the balls (56) within the ball circulation groove (71). Hook sections (94) provided to ends of the base section (92) are engaged with the cover blocks (70a 70b) to thereby integrally connect the cover blocks (70a 70b) and the guide block (68).
