Liquid Crystal Polyester Resin For Laminate, Liquid Crystal Polyester Resin Composition, Laminate, And Liquid Crystal Polyester Resin Film

Abstract: A liquid crystal polyester resin for a laminate in which the area fraction of a portion having an absolute molecular weight of 10,000 or lower is 10-40%, and the area fraction of a portion having an absolute molecular weight of 50,000 or higher is 3-20%, relative to a total peak area of 100% in the molecular weight distribution of the absolute molecular weight measured by gel permeation chromatography/light scattering. Provided is a liquid crystal polyester resin for a laminate, said resin making it possible to obtain a film having exceptional metal adhesiveness and tensile properties. Also provided are: a liquid crystal polyester resin composition that has exceptional solubility, can be handled at low temperature, and makes it possible to obtain a film of uniform film thickness without cracks; and a laminate and a liquid crystal polyester resin film comprising the liquid crystal polyester resin composition.
