Lithium Secondary Battery
Abstract: The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery comprising: an electrode assembly in which a cathode plate, an anode plate, and a separator interposed between the cathode plate and the anode plate are wound in one direction; a battery can in which the electrode assembly is accommodated; and a sealing body for sealing an open end of the battery can, wherein the cathode plate comprises a cathode active material layer, wherein the cathode active material layer comprises a single-particle and/or quasi-single-particle cathode active material having an average particle diameter D50 of 5 µm or less.
