Abstract
The prime objective of "Restaurant Finder Application" is to create a full fledged Android application which could locate a list of restaurants based on the location & type of the cuisine entered by the user. The user not only finds all the restaurants in the city, but also he can make a choice of the best restaurant based on the rating & cuisine he chooses to have. The user can also map the location of the restaurant on Google Maps rendered to the user on the phone & find the path from his current location or from any other location to the restaurant; the user has the facility to make a call directly to the restaurant and can also obtain the detailed review of the restaurant he chooses.

Field of Invention
This invention relates to the location based restaurant finder application based on Android devices. The invention further relates to the item-wise rating of the cuisines according to the restaurant menu. These rating will be given by the users themselves.
Background / Prior Art
We are living in a world where everyday something new happens. Same thing goes with the restaurant business. If a person comes to a city and wants to search a restaurant he might get lost. Hence our application comes to the rescue. The location based restaurant finder application uses Google Maps to show the location of a particular restaurant the user wants to locate. The invention apart from giving it's user location, it will also give the item-wise rating of the menu items. Today competition is very tough and each restaurant has its own top recipe. This feature will help it's user to find the best item according to user's rating.
The applications using Google Maps comes in handy for the users who are trying to locate a particular place or building. The tourists in particular use these kind of applications. The Maps gives the direction as well as the location co-ordinates to the users.
