Machine Learning And Iot Based Smart Wearable System For Autonomous Management Of Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract: The present invention discloses a smart wearable insulin pump operation based on integration of Machine Learning and IOT with an integrated glucometer assembly. The assembly includes, but not limited to, a blood glucose measuring module with a display means configured to measure and view the blood glucose level of a patient; an USB interface to connect the assembly with a computing device or a portable digital device for further analysing and view the results; a user interface provided with an IoT connectivity on the computing device or the portable digital device; a removable insulin cartridge connected with the piston; a processing unit designed to guide for a predetermined delivery from the removable insulin cartridge to the patient by actuating the linear assembly and according to the requirement evaluated by the blood glucose measuring module, and a machine learning interface to calibrate and to handle the whole process precisely according to the desired level of insulin delivery for the patient. Further, the machine learning interface is further configured to set and schedule the insulin delivery according to previous learning and training for the patient.

Specification

Claims:1. A wearable insulin pump with an integrated glucometer assembly, comprising: a blood glucose measuring module with a display means configured to measure and views the blood glucose level of a patient.
2. Machine learning interface to calibrate and to handle the whole process precisely according to the desired level of insulin delivery for the patient.
3. The processing unit is further configured with an alarming unit to raise the alarm on reaching predetermined conditions.
4. The alarming unit is configured to have a vibrational motor circuit with the lighting and sound arrangement to alert the patient.
5. A housing is used to assemble and integrating the whole electrical and non -electrical components in a single compact unit with the display means.
6. The housing is having a removable battery for providing the power supply to the electrical and electronics components of the whole assembly.
, Description:The alarming unit is further configured to have a vibrational motor circuit with the lighting and sound arrangement to alert the patient. In place of the metric keypad, a touchpad is used in the device incorporated with the display unit and configuring the insulin delivery manually according to the user. The machine learning interface is deployed so as to regulated the flow control of the insulin to the patient thereby varying the amount of fluid, which is flowing through the requisite connectors and body attachments and with the trained validated data to the biomedical device for working in conjunction with the body glucose level measuring, monitoring and delivering the insulin with the best evaluated amount required to the body of the patient.
The device is implemented with removable and disposable insulin cartridge, connectors and body attachments part and built-in space for having the glucometer strips. a housing is used to assemble and integrating the whole electrical and non-electrical components in a single compact unit with the display means. the computing device or the portable digital device is connected through a wired or wireless connections.
