Abstract: This magnet chuck (10) has a piston assembly (14), including a tube shaped permanent magnet (42) and a core yoke (40), that is provided to be able to move on the interior of a cylinder tube (12), wherein the permanent magnet (42) is provided on the outer periphery of the core yoke (40), is magnetized in the radial direction, and a magnetic sensor (36) is attached to the side surface of the cylinder tube (12).
