Abstract: In the present invention ,The outer ring is welded on the U Clamp and the pillar - Inner ring sub assy. is locked to the outer ring through use of enclosed steel balls . Then In U clamp , Brake Sub Assembly is inserted and affixed by rivets . In U clamp , there is a brake U clamp which is affixed by a longer Rivet . After that wheel is affixed by nut , bolts , bush and washer . Pick the right size :- A good rule of thumb here is that the larger the scaffolding castor wheel diameter is, the more it will resist obstacles and provide durability. Think about the braking system :- A good braking system will help boost the security and it will also eliminate many obstacles that can arise. The more you focus on implementing a good braking system, the better the payoff that you will have in the end. Selecting brackets:- Brackets can have a certain orientation or a universal direction. You can get galvanizing, nickel plated brackets. Installation method :- Depending on the scaffolding process, you will have to focus on a certain load. That’s why the installation process is very important, since it can make a huge difference. The most important aspect here is making sure that you have a seamless, fast installation system.
The present invention relates to the field of scaffolding construction industry . More specifically the present invention called as magnum pro forged scaffolding castor is used in mobile towers, scaffolding pillars . With this invention heavy weighted mobile towers are able to move from place to another as and when required & also able to stand still when brakes are applied on the castors .
Magnum pro forged scaffolding castor is total brake type castor which includes both swivel rotation and wheel rotation . When brakes are applied on the castor both swivel and wheel rotation will be locked.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
A Scaffolding Caster is a caster which has a stem mount and a brake which is used to make any scaffolding unit mobile and stationary - the brake being the component that adds the stationary component. Obviously safety is a key concern when working with or on any scaffolding unit and if you are going to be working on the scaffolding unit, you want to ensure the scaffolding is not going to roll or shift while you are standing and working up high. This idea of safety really highlights the importance of the brake on our scaffolding casters.
This is our previous scaffolding castor of load capacity 700 kg . The load capacity of the current invention is 1200 kg . The current invention is done to increase the load capacity of the castor as compared to the previous one . Also, the purpose of the present invention is to make the scaffolds fall proof and the caster break proof.
Magnum Pro Forged Scaffolding Castor comes in various sized options depending on the wheel size. The wheel fixed is good at providing a smooth role while offering an adequate load capacity for the weight requirements of the scaffolding unit. A unique feature held by a scaffolding caster is its stem size. These casters are equipped with round stem of dia 34.5 mm and length 60 mm that has two 34" holes drilled at 20 mm from the top of the stem. This mounting setup allows the caster stem to fit perfectly into your scaffolding unit where you can secure it with 1 or 2 bolts through the predrilled fastening holes. These are very easy to replace.
WHAT WE DID?
As compared to previous castor, we have replaced the upper ball raceway by Inner and Outer forged Ring which enclose two layers of steel balls inside which makes a completely locked swivel bearing . And the outer ring has been welded to the U Clamp . These rings provide strength to the castor due to which load capacity has been increased from 800 kg to 1200 kg . The advantage of the present invention is that it offers a life of 5 years to the caster and since the swivel section is completely locked, it can never open even if handled roughly at the construction site . This is all due to the presence of inner and outer ring in the invention.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
1.) This Castor includes a ball stem which fits in the hollow pipe structure and are tighten by the hole provided in the ball stem . After tightening , the tower or pillar is ready to move from one place to another when brakes are kept in off position . And when brakes are applied the tower or pillar stops moving and will stand still at its position.
2.) Magnum pro forged scaffolding castor specially prepared to absorb large weights of range 1200 kg, but also allowing the scaffolding to be moved with absolute freedom, even on irregular terrain.
3.) The scaffolding castors must be resistant and, at the same time, allow a simple movement of the complete structure, but in addition, they must incorporate safety elements which guarantee an absolute fixation when the scaffolding is fixed.
4.) In the present invention , We have developed our own braking devices, which prevent the wheel from moving if it is not necessary. These brakes prevent the scaffolding from moving from the base, in addition, the brakes eliminate the vibrations that are perceived in the highest levels of the scaffolding.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING
The Drawing attached is of magnum pro forged scaffolding castor of Size 200 x 50 mm i.e. wheel dia is 200 mm (8 inch ) and wheel width is 50 mm (2 inch). The U-Clamp width for 200x50 wheel is 110 mm . For other sized wheel of this model, some dimensions will vary like wheel size, U-Clamp Size, Brake sub assy. The functioning and application of the castor will remain same for every sized model.

1.) The castor is mounted on the pillar/tower by inserting the pillar into the tower and then tightening with pin. While tightening the castor pillar in the tower, care should be taken that it should not be loose as it can cause accident & may cause injury to the user.
2.) When the brake sub assembly is in brakes off position (as shown in image above) the castor is in moving position . Means, the swivel 360 degree rotation of the castor takes place along with wheel rotation on its own axis. When brakes are applied by applying force via foot on the red pedal, the brake sub Assy lever will tilt at certain angle towards the red pedal thus causing brake to activate . At this position , the tower will stand still at its rest position.
3.) Now to remove the brake , the force has to be applied via foot on the green pedal . The brake sub assy, lever will tilt at certain angle towards green pedal . The pillar and wheel starts rotating around their own axis . Now at this position the tower starts moving & also starts rotating about its own axis.
ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
1.) The Present invention known as Magnum Pro Forged Scaffolding Castor which has a stem mount and brakes is used to make any scaffolding unit mobile and stationary - the brake being the component that adds the stationary component.
2.) Convenience and Safety :-The safety advantage of the present invention is that swivel section of the castor will never open and thus prevent any accident due to castor wheel failure . This is all due to the presence of inner and outer ring in the invention.
3.) Load Carrying Capacity :- The present invention has high load carrying capacity of 1200 kg .
CLAIMS :-
I, We claim :-
The load capacity of the scaffolding castor increased by 500 kg :- For the safety of the worker and the scaffolding, the load capacity of the individual scaffolding castors must be adapted both to the size and weight of the scaffolding and to the area of application. The load capacity of the invention with plain bearings is between 1200 kg per castor thanks to the presence of inner and outer ring which makes it load efficient. With such a wide variance, both small and large scaffolds can be easily equipped and then used flexibly.
