4.TECHNICAL FIELD

This invention is in the field of management of charter travel services.

5. BACKGROUND

As opposed to scheduled air  rail  marine  road transport services which as the name suggests  run to a declared schedule  charter transport services like air charters  marine charters  etc are ‘on demand’ and hence need much more planning  arrangements  etc to be made to fulfill the requirement. Makemycharter is a platform which enables such ‘on demand’ charter transport services to be booked and fulfilled.

That is why Penta Consulting has introduced Makemycharter.

Makemycharter– is a charter transport services platform which enables various components of the charter transport services business to interact with each other on the cloud and fulfil the requirements. The process is same for air charters  marine charters  road charters  etc.

The process flow for air charters is given as follows-

The process in detail:-

1) The first step is - Customer visits makemycharter.com website

2) The second step is - Looks through information regarding flights  aircrafts  etc

3) The third step is - Fills in details of his/her flying requirements  dates  locations  persons  etc

4) The fourth step is - Requests for quote / can see estimate of cost for standard known flights

5) The fifth step is - Customer gets acknowledgement of his enquiry

6) The sixth step is - Operators alerted about request and can respond to such request with quote

7) The seventh step is - Customer confirms his/her flight by making payment using one of several payment options

8) The eighth step is - Flight fulfilment takes place / flight is cancelled

9) The ninth step is - Final bill for actual flying and expenses raised and payment realised / refund request is generated and refund made.

This process is the same whether for air charters  marine charters  etc. Aircraft are replaced by other craft-marine or road.
