Abstract: The present invention more effectively manages managed objects such as assets. Attribute information about each managed object owned by a client is associated with unique identification information and stored in a storage unit (34). A generation unit (31) generates a first code which is to be affixed to a managed object for which attribute information is stored in the storage unit (34) said first code having a two dimensional code representing attribute information and a color code representing identification information associated with the attribute information. In addition the generation unit (31) generates a second code which is to be affixed to a managed object that does not have attribute information stored in the storage unit (34) said second code having a color code representing identification information not associated with any attribute information.
DESCRIPTION
MANAGEMENT TARGET ITEM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Technical Field
[0001]
The present invention relates to an information
processor, a terminal device, an attachment member, a code
generation method, a code detection method, a program, a
management target item management system, and a management
target item management method.
Background Art
[0002]
As an asset management method such as stocktaking or
the like, for example, there is a method for managing by
generating bar codes based on an asset information database
and attaching the bar codes to assets. In case of
stocktaking, stock is taken by reading the bar code and
attaching a sticker or the like that indicates the bar code
has been read.
[0003]
Here, conventionally, there has been proposed a tag
label creation apparatus that efficiently creates a
wireless tag label with a color identifier as preventing a
wireless tag circuit element from being damaged (for
example, see Patent Literature 1).

Summary of Invention
Technical Problem
[0005]
There are stocktaking agent business operators that
provide a stocktaking service. The stocktaking agent
business operator visits a client and takes stock by
attaching a bar code to an asset owned by the client, for
example.
[0006]
However, the stocktaking agent business operator
sometimes has to visit the client several times to take
stock. This causes a problem that the conventional
stocktaking operation is inefficient.
[0007]
In view of the above, the present invention has an
object to provide a technique that enables a more efficient
management of management target items such as assets.

Description of Embodiments
[0034]
19
[First Embodiment]
Hereinafter, a first embodiment of the present
invention will be explained with reference to the drawings.
[0035]
Fig. 1 is a diagram illustrating an example of a
configuration of an asset management system according to
the first embodiment. In Fig. 1, business places 1 and 2
are illustrated. The business place 1 is a business place
of an agent business operator of client's asset management
such as stocktaking, for example. The business place 2 is
a business place of a client where the asset management is
performed by the business operator. Hereinafter, an
example in which stock is taken by the business operator of
the business place 1 for the client of the business place 2.
[0036]
The business operator (hereinafter, it may be
referred to as "stocktaking agent business operator") of
the business place 1 has an information processor 1a, a
terminal device 1b, a printer 1c, and a network 1d. The
information processor 1a, terminal device 1b, and printer
1c are connected respectively by the network 1d. The
information processor 1a is, for example, a server and the
network 1d is, for example, a network such as a LAN (Local
Area Network).
[0037]
20
The stocktaking agent business operator has a tablet
computer terminal 1e. The tablet computer terminal 1e is,
for example, a tablet computer terminal equipped with a
digital camera. The tablet computer terminal 1e is used by
the stocktaking agent business operator or the client in
the business place 2 of the client which is the destination
of the stocktaking operation. Here, the tablet computer
terminal 1e may be a mobile terminal equipped with a
digital camera, such as a notebook computer, a smartphone,
or a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant).
[0038]
The information processor 1a and the tablet computer
terminal 1e can communicate with each other via the network
3. The network 3 is, for example, a network of a radio
communication network such as the Internet or a mobile
network.
[0039]
Fig. 2 is a diagram that explains an attachment
member (tag) used in the asset management system of Fig. 1.
Fig. 2 illustrates the business place 1 of the stocktaking
agent business operator and the business place 2 of the
client that outsources stocktaking operation to the
stocktaking agent business operator, which are illustrated
in Fig. 1. Further, Fig. 2 illustrates the printer 1c and
the tablet computer terminal 1e, which are illustrated in
21
Fig. 1.
[0040]
In Fig. 2, mount sheets 11, 13, and 15 are
illustrated. The mount sheets 11, 13, and 15 are printed
by the stocktaking agent business operator with the printer
1c.
[0041]
The mount sheet 11 has a plurality of attachment
members. The attachment members are, for example, stickers
and can be peeled off from the mount sheet 11. An
attachment member peeled off from the mount sheet 11 is
attached to an asset of the client. In the following
explanation, the attachment member of the mount sheet 11
may be referred to as "registered code."
[0042]
The registered code 12 is an enlarged image of one of
the attachment members of the mount sheet 11. On the
registered code 12, a two-dimensional code 12a, a color
code 12b, and a code 12c are printed.
[0043]
The two-dimensional code 12a has, for example, a
square-shaped frame and a plurality of black filled squares
in a lot of spaces of the square frame. The twodimensional
code 12a indicates particular information
according to a pattern of placement of the black filled
22
squares. Further, the two-dimensional code has markers at
three corners of the square frame, for example. The
position of the two-dimensional code 12a is specified by
the three markers. As the two-dimensional code 12a, for
example, a QR code (registered trademark) or the like can
be used.
[0044]
The color code 12b has, for example, a plurality of
square cells vertically and horizontally on a background of
a certain color such as black. The plural cells (a cell
group) are respectively colored. The cell group is
associated with particular information using the applied
colors and combinations. In other words, each cell
included in the cell group has an amount of information
corresponding to the number of applied colors or the type
of color combination.
[0045]
Among the cell groups placed in every direction of
the color code 12b, the cell group at the most left column
is allocated as a specific cell to specify the position of
the color code 12b for example. With this, the color code
12b can specify its position. Further, among the cell
groups of the color code 12b, for example, the top cell
group is a reference area that indicates colors used in
other cell groups. With this, regarding the color code 12b,
23
even when the color applied to the cell group is mistakenly
read due to an influence by surrounding environment or the
like, the color of the cell group can be correctly
specified. As the color code 12b, for example, a chameleon
code (registered trademark) or the like can be used.
[0046]
Without taking a close-up image of the twodimensional
code 12a as pointing the camera or the like
closely for example, the recognition rate is lowered;
however, the recognition rate of the color code 12b is good
without taking a close-up image. In other words, even if
the color code 12b is taken by the camera from a distance,
the recognition rate is maintained in a good level. Thus,
some of the color codes 12b can be recognized by shooting
them at the same time.
[0047]
It is obvious that other codes (for example, a onedimensional
bar code) may be used as a substitute of the
two-dimensional code 2a as long as the same function and
performance as those of the above-described two-dimensional
code 2a can be realized. As a substitute for the twodimensional
code 2a, a color code may be used. Further,
other codes may be used as a substitute for the color code
12b as long as the same function and performance as those
of the above-described color code 12b can be realized.
24
[0048]
The code 12c is letters and/or numbers that express
the information indicated by the color code 12b. For
example, the part of "xxxxx" in the code 12c is the numbers
and/or letters expressing the information indicated by the
color code 12b.
[0049]
The mount sheet 13 has a plurality of attachment
members. The attachment members are, for example, stickers
which can be peeled off from the mount sheet 13. The
attachment member peeled off from the mount sheet 13 is
attached to an asset of the client. In the following
explanation, the attachment member of the mount sheet 13
may be referred to as a "non-registered code."
[0050]
The non-registered code 14 is an enlarged image of
one of the attachment members of the mount sheet 13. On
the non-registered code 14, a color code 14a, a color code
14b and a code 14c are printed. The color code 14a and
color code 14b are a type of the code which can be
collectively recognized at the same time without taking a
close-up image and have a configuration which is the same
as the above-described color code 12b. The code 14c is
letters and/or numbers that express information indicated
by the color code 14b. For example, the part of "yyyyy" in
25
the code 14c is the letters and/or numbers expressing the
information indicated by the color code 14b.
[0051]
The mount sheet 15 has a plurality of attachment
members. The attachment members are, for example, stickers
and can be peeled off from the mount sheet 15. The
attachment member peeled off from the mount sheet 15 is
attached on the color code 14a (an area where an additional
registration code 16 is to be attached) of the nonregistered
code 14, not to overlap with the color code 14b.
In the following explanation, the attachment member of the
mount sheet 15 may be referred to as an "additional
registration code."
[0052]
The additional registration code 16 is an enlarged
image of one of the attachment members of the mount sheet
15. On the additional registration code 16, a twodimensional
code 16a and a code 16b are printed. The twodimensional
code 16a has a configuration which is the same
as the above-described two-dimensional code 12a. The code
16b, which will be described later in detail, corresponds
to the code 14c of the non-registered code 14. The
additional registration code 16 is attached on the nonregistered
code 14 which has the same code 14c as the code
16b.
26
[0053]
Here, when the additional registration code 16 is
attached on the color code 14a, the non-registered code 14
turns to have the same configuration as the registered code
12 (Note that there is a difference from the registered
code 12 in that the non-registered code 14 on which the
additional registration code 16 is attached has the code
16b.). In other words, the non-registered code 14 becomes
a code including the color code 14b and the two-dimensional
code 16a.
[0054]
Here, in the above explanation, it has been explained
that the additional registration code 16 including the twodimensional
code 16a and the code 16b is peeled off from
the mount sheet 15; however, only the two-dimensional code
16a may be peeled off from the mount sheet 15. Then, only
the two-dimensional code 16a which is peeled off from the
mount sheet 15 may be attached on the color code 14a of the
non-registered code 14.
[0055]
Assets 17a to 17d illustrated in Fig. 2 are assets
owned by the client. The stocktaking agent business
operator brings the mount sheets 11 and 13, which are
printed with the printer 1c, to the business place 2 of the
client, peels off the registered code 12 and non-registered
27
code 14 from the mount sheets 11 and 13, and attaches them
on the assets 17a to 17d of the client (How to attach the
registered code 12 and non-registered code 14 will be
described later.).
[0056]
For example, on each of the assets 17a, 17b and 17d
illustrated in Fig. 2, registered codes have been attached
by the stocktaking agent business operator. Registered
codes 18a, 18b and 18d are enlarged images of the
registered codes attached on the assets 17a, 17b and 17d.
Further, on the asset 17c, a non-registered code is
attached by the stocktaking agent business operator. A
non-registered code 18c is an enlarged image of the nonregistered
code attached on the asset 17c.
[0057]
After attaching the registered codes 18a, 18b and 18d
and the non-registered code 18c to the assets 17a to 17d of
the client, the stocktaking agent business operator takes
stock using the tablet computer terminal 1e.
[0058]
For example, the stocktaking agent business operator
points the camera installed in the tablet computer terminal
1e at the assets 17a to 17d of the client. The tablet
computer terminal 1e detects the color codes of the
registered code 18a, 18b and 18c and the color code of the
28
non-registered code 18c, which are attached to the assets
17a to 17d and shot by the camera, and stocktaking is
performed.
[0059]
Here, as described above, a plurality of color codes
can be recognized at the same time without taking a closeup
image. Thus, the stocktaking agent business operator
can easily take stock of the assets 17a to 17d by holding
the tablet computer terminal 1e and pointing the camera of
the tablet computer terminal 1e in various directions.
[0060]
The tablet computer terminal 1e displays stocktaking
result of the assets 17a to 17d on a display. For example,
assets 19a to 19d illustrated in Fig. 2 are the assets 17a
to 17d being shot by the camera of the tablet computer
terminal 1e, and the tablet computer terminal 1e displays
stocktaking results such as "Good, "Fail," and "Incomplete"
near the detected color codes of the registered codes 18a,
18b and 18c and the detected color code of the nonregistered
code 18c.
[0061]
The "Good" shown in Fig. 2 indicates that the assets
17a and 17b being shot by the camera are legitimate assets.
The "Fail" indicates that the asset 17d being shot by the
camera is not a legitimate asset. The "Incomplete"
29
indicates that an additional registration code 16 is not
attached on top of the smaller color code on the nonregistered
code 18c (on top of the color code 14a of the
non-registered code 14) which is attached on the asset 17c.
[0062]
After the stocktaking operation by the stocktaking
agent business operator is finished, the mount sheet 15 is
mailed from the stocktaking agent business operator to the
client. The client peels off an additional registration
code 16 from the mailed mount sheet 15 and attaches the
peeled additional registration code 16 on top of the color
code 14a of the asset to which the non-registered code 14
is attached. Then, the client shoots (takes stock of) the
non-registered code 14 on which the additional registration
code 16 is attached, with the tablet computer terminal 1e.
[0063]
Fig. 3 is a diagram for explaining an outline
operation of the asset management system of Figs. 1 and 2
and an outline of user's operation. Fig. 3 illustrates the
business places 1 and 2 illustrated in Figs. 1 and 2.
[0064]
The client informs asset information of the own
assets to the stocktaking agent business operator (step S1).
The assets are, for example, devices owned by the client
and the asset information is, for example, device
30
information of the devices owned by the client. The device
information includes, for example, a device model number, a
product manufacturing number, a serial number, and the like.
In the following explanation, it will be assumed that the
client informs the stocktaking agent business operator of
device information of devices owned by the client.
[0065]
Next, upon receiving the device information from the
client, the stocktaking agent business operator registers
the device information to the information processor 1a
(step S2).
[0066]
Next, the stocktaking agent business operator uses
the terminal device 1b to instruct the information
processor 1a to generate a registered code 12 and a nonregistered
code 14 (step S3).
[0067]
Here, the registered code 12 is to be attached to the
device whose device information is registered in the
information processor 1a. The non-registered code 14 is
attached to the device whose device information is not
registered in the information processor 1a. The device
which is not registered in the information processor 1a is
the device whose device information is not informed from
the client in step S1.
31
[0068]
Next, the information processor 1a prints, with the
printer 1c, the mount sheet 11 including the generated
registered code 12 (step S4). Further, the information
processor 1a prints, with the printer 1c, the mount sheet
13 including the generated non-registered code 14 (step S4).
[0069]
Next, the stocktaking agent business operator brings
the printed mount sheets 11 and 13 and a tablet computer
terminal 1e to the business place 2 of the client (step S5).
[0070]
Next, the stocktaking agent business operator
attaches the registered code 12 printed on the mount sheet
11 to the device whose device information is registered in
the information processor 1a. Further, the stocktaking
agent business operator attaches the non-registered code 14
printed on the mount sheet 13 to the device whose device
information is not registered in the information processor
1a (step S6).
[0071]
Here, regarding the device whose device information
is not registered in the information processor 1a, there
may be a failure in the report from the client in step S1
for example. Or there may be a case that a device which
has not been recognized by the client is found by the
32
stocktaking agent business operator during the stocktaking
operation.
[0072]
Here, although it will be described later, the
stocktaking agent business operator can recognize which
device of the client has been registered in the information
processor 1a and which device has not been registered in
the information processor 1a. Further, the stocktaking
agent business operator can recognize which of the
registered codes 12 is to be attached on which of the
client's devices that are registered in the information
processor 1a.
[0073]
Next, the stocktaking agent business operator takes
stock and officially registers the devices using
