Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to a merriment apparatus. In particular, the instant invention relates to marble based apparatus.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] Merriment apparatuses have been prevalent in the market since decades. Such apparatuses engage mental, strategical, or logical abilities, depending on the intended problem to be solved and strategic conditions. The apparatus may be for users of various levels and age groups, based on the level of complexity and presentation of problems to be solved. These can be classified broadly as educational apparatus or merriment apparatus depending on the intended results. There are many known types of merriment apparatuses, one of which is the standalone educational merriment apparatuses, comprising a printed matter placed on top of a hardware. The main disadvantage of this type of educational apparatuses is that they are not suitable and/or convenient for younger children. Another disadvantage of this type of educational apparatuses is that they are expensive.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
[003] Primary object of the present invention is to provide a standalone merriment apparatus that is suitable to be operated by young children and that is cost effective.
[004] Another objective on the present invention is to provide an apparatus that requires no external interference to manage the apparatus once initiated by a user.
[005] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a proper organization and management of objects in the separate sections by clear visual indicators for improving ease of use of the merriment apparatus.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[006] A merriment apparatus comprising a spinning handboarrd with number of sections representing action condition. An arrow mounted on a spindle and rotates either in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction about the axis of the spindle. A triggering card is used to initiate the merriment apparatus and then the user initiates the rotation of the arrow to reach an action

condition. The action condition mentions the combination of objects on the stoppage of the arrow. The triggering card condition is checked whether it meets the players collected objects. On meeting the triggering card condition the player submits the collected objects and acquires the triggering card and the next triggering card is placed automatically reinitiating the merriment apparatus. The merriment apparatus continues operation until the exhaustion of all triggering card conditions.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[007] The following description describes various features and functions of the disclosed apparatus. The illustrative aspects described herein are not meant to be limiting. It may be readily understood that certain aspects of the disclosed apparatus can be arranged and combined in a wide variety of different configurations, all of which may not have been contemplated herein.
[008] These and other features, including the advantages of the present invention may be incorporated into certain embodiments of the invention which will become fully apparent from the following description, and more apparent from the description to be followed in the complete specification.
[009] Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications of the embodiments described herein can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. In addition, descriptions of well-known functions and constructions are omitted for clarity and conciseness.
[0010] It is to be understood that the singular forms "a", "an", and "the" include plural reference, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise.
[0011] It should be emphasized that the term "comprises/comprising" when used in this specification is taken to specify the presence of stated features, integers, steps or components, but does not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, integers, steps, components or groups thereof.

[0012] In order to provide basic understanding of some aspects of the invention, a simplified description of the invention is presented herein. It is not an extensive overview of this invention. Also, it is neither intended to identify the key/critical elements of the invention or to define the scope of the invention.
[0013] The present invention discloses a merriment apparatus for teaching, or assembling of similar colored marbles for the random assigned triggering card based on the level user achieves.
[0014] The apparatus comprises, but is not limited to, a spinning hand-board, a spindle and an arrow, plurality of marbles, and plurality of cards. A spinning hand-board is a circular board comprising a spinning arrow mounted on the spindle. The upper surface of the spinning hard-board is further divided in 8 slots. The central slot is for placing the cards and the remaining four slots on either side of the central column belongs to the user. The said 8 slots on the spinning hand-board have cavity tinted with variety of color to encase the plurality of marbles. The plurality of marbles are of four colors yellow, blue, red, green divided equally and placed in the cavity according to the color and number of the cavities in the slot. The plurality of cards are designed with random numbers between 15-45 for the user to assemble the marbles accordingly.
[0015] The method of operation of the said apparatus comprises of three levels wherein the objective is to match the sum of marbles in any row with the number mentioned on the card that is there in that row. When either player has enough marbles of different colour in any row so that their sum matches the number on the card in that row, they submit the marbles and pick up that card.
[0016] In the level one, the user first shuffles the plurality of cards with numbers from 15 to 25 and place them randomly along the plurality of slots of the spinning hand-board. Further, the user places the marbles in the cavity according to the color and number of the cavities in the slots. On placing all the components together the user spins the spinning hand-board. The plurality of users collect the various number of colored marbles as the level proceeds. The collected marbles are refilled accordingly by the plurality of marbles. The user has to assemble the duplet of different colors to match the number in the card corresponding to the

slot. The cards are refilled till all the cards are used. The level proceeds to the level two when all the cards are collected by the users by assembling the duplets of different colored marbles.
[0017] In the second level all the components are placed again and the cards from 26 to 35 are first shuffled and placed randomly along the plurality of slots of the spinning hand-board. The user in this level has to assemble the triplet of different colors to match the number in the card corresponding to the slot. The level further proceeds to the level three when all the cards are collected by the users by assembling the triplets of different colored marbles.
[0018] In the third level all the components are placed together again and the cards from 36 to 35 are first shuffled and placed randomly along the plurality of slots of the spinning hand-board. The user in this level has to assemble the quadruplets of different colors to match the number in the card corresponding to the slot. The level ends when all the cards are collected by the users by assembling the quadruplets of different colored marbles. The said method is performed by plurality of user at a time.
[0019] The user primarily aims to assemble the plurality of marbles in duplets, triplets and quadruplets based on the achieved level to fulfill the numbers designed on the cards until all of the said cards are collected.
[0020] As per a specific embodiment of the present invention, the number of users is a minimum of one and a maximum of two. The number of users and stencils mentioned are not to limit the scope of invention, but only to further enhance understanding of the invention to a person skilled in the art.
[0021] As per an alternate embodiment, the present invention can also be optionally realized through an electronically connected means.
[0022] The present invention also discloses a method for operation of such standalone synthesized merriment apparatus.
[0023] While the present invention has been described with reference to one or more preferred aspect, which have been set forth in considerable details for the purpose of making

a complete disclosure of the invention, such aspects are merely exemplary and are not intended to be limiting or represent an exhaustive enumeration of all aspects of the invention. The scope of the invention, therefore, shall be defined solely by the following claims. Further, it will be apparent to those skills in the art that numerous changes may be made in such details without departing from the spirit and the principles of the invention.
