Abstract: Mathematics based online card gaming software application is disclosed. The game plot discloses that a fixed number of cards i.e. 10 cards are displayed to the players, and every symbol of the card i.e. hearts, clubs, spades and diamonds are given a fixed number. The player would have to add the number which is present on the card with the number of the symbol. The total of the hearts and diamonds have to be added and the total of clubs and spades have to be added and the total of the hearts and diamonds have to be subtracted from the total of clubs and spades. The player would have to provide answer in fix slot or flexi bar and lock their answer. The players who provide right answers win the winning amount, which is distributed equally amongst all the winners.
Claims:We Claim:
1. An online gaming system comprising of:
a. a gaming software application to be installed in the electronic device using an active internet connection;
wherein, the gaming software application allows the players to win money through their mathematical calculation skills using the playing cards.
2. The system as cited in claim 1 wherein, a fixed number of cards are displayed to the players, and every symbol on the card are given a fixed number which the player has to use to make the calculation where, the number of the card has to be added with the card value in which the total of the hearts and diamonds have to be added and the total of clubs and spades have to be added and the total of the hearts and diamonds have to be subtracted from the total of clubs and spades.
3. The system as cited in claim 1 wherein, the contest can be played in two modes which can include private mode and public mode, where in the public mode any number of players can play the game whereas in the private mode, a host player can invite other guest players with whom they wish to play the game, and can play the game.
4. The system as cited in claim 1 wherein, the number of tickets purchased and the winning amount is updated on real time basis.
5. The system as cited in claim 1 wherein, the winning amount is distributed equally among all the winners of the game.
6. The system as cited in claim 1 wherein, a set time of 30 seconds is allotted to every player for locking their answer to a particular game.
7. The method of playing the game of skills comprising:
a. installation of the gaming software application in the electronic device using internet;
b. registration of the player with the gaming software application;
c. selection of a contest;
d. granting access to the player to enter the contest in which several games with different entry fees;
e. choosing the games to be played by the player and paying the entry fees for the same;
f. start of the game during which the player has to add the numbers on the cards with their value and the total of the hearts and diamonds have to be added and the total of clubs and spades have to be added and the total of the hearts and diamonds have to be subtracted from the total of clubs and spades;
g. locking the answer in either fix slot of flexi bar;
h. displaying of the result by the system which displays the name of the winners; and
i. distribution of winning amount to the winners. , Description:Technical Field of the invention:
The present invention generally relates to online gaming, and more particularly to the online mathematics skill based game which also helps the players to earn money through their skills.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
An online game is a game that is primarily played with the help of internet facility. There are several card games which are available in market which allows the users to pay first and then earn money, in which many are illegal, which can include cricket betting, card games etc.,
With the increasing demand for such card games, they are several games which have made their place in the market, through which the players can earn money. The online-based games have been increasingly developing at a faster pace, but the demand in the market is not been met, and there are clear chances of cheating and going bankrupt.
There are a few mathematics based card games which are patented, which are listed below.
US patent application 20050173863A1 by IGT Inc., Jorasch James A, discloses methods and systems for facilitating play of a card game, a player of a game (e.g., video poker) wagers on a game in which a first set of cards represents a bonus hand having a high value (e.g., royal, straight). The player is also dealt a second set of cards. In one embodiment, an indication of a first set of cards may be output by a first display device and an indication of a second set of cards may be output by a second display device. The player selects one or more cards from the second set of cards that are to be discarded, and the player is dealt a replacement card for each such discarded card. Each card in the first set which matches a replacement card is removed. The value of each hand of the modified first set of cards is then determined. A credit balance is adjusted based on the determined values of the modified first set of cards.
As the demand for the games with a feature of legally earning money increases, the threat for frauds and cheating also increases which makes the players to lose money which they invest in a game. Ethically this scenario is not favourable, and even leads a player to bankruptcy.
Therefore there is a need for a legal money earning game through which the players can invest money and can earn more money than they have invested based on their mathematical skills.
Objects of the invention:
The primary object of the present invention is to provide mathematics based online card game, through which a player can invest money and win money by giving right answer to the questions.
Another object of the present invention is to provide mathematics based online card game where a player would have to add the number which is present on the card with the number of the symbol and then subtract them to reach an answer.
Summary of the invention:
The present invention discloses mathematics based online gaming software application, which allows the winners to win money through their mathematics skills. The online game is a multi-player game where any number of players can join the game by paying an allocated entry fee for each game.
According to the present invention, the concept behind the game is that a fixed number of cards i.e. 10 cards are displayed to the players, and every symbol of the card i.e. hearts, clubs, spades and diamonds are given a fixed number. The player would have to add the number which is present on the card with the number of the symbol. The total of the hearts and diamonds have to be added and the total of clubs and spades have to be added and the total of the hearts and diamonds have to be subtracted from the total of clubs and spades. The player would have to quickly make the calculations and provide an answer and has to click on lock option in the software application for locking their answer, which records the player’s locking time. The player, who gives the fastest right answer ticket, wins the game. All the players who provide right answer wins the game and the winning amount will be distributed equally amongst all the winners. In the fixed slot format, the players would have to provide the right answer to a game from a fixed range for example: [-10 to -4] [-3 to 2] [3 to 10], for a particular game and in the flexi bar format the players would have to provide the answer by placing a bar which is a range, anywhere on the provided range for example [-100 to +100].
According to the present invention, as the number of players start buying the tickets for the contest, the revised number of tickets keeps getting updated live on real time basis on the software application, which is visible to all the users of the application, which increases the transparency of the application. The winning amount is calculated based on the total number of tickets purchased and the percentage of maximum number of winners. The winning amount is also updated live on real time basis, and once the contest is completed, all the users can view the list of winners who has won the games.
Detailed description of the invention
The present invention discloses mathematics card based online gaming software application, which allows the winners to win money through their mathematics skills. The components of the present invention includes the online gaming software application which has to be installed in the electronic device with the help of an active internet connection, where the players can join and play the games post registration with the application.
The present invention discloses an online card gaming software application, in which multiple number of players can join the game by paying entry fee. The player can view a fixed number of cards i.e. 10 cards where every symbol of the card i.e. hearts, clubs, spades and diamonds are given a fixed number. The player would have to add the number which is present on the card with the number of the symbol. The total of the hearts and diamonds have to be added and the total of clubs and spades have to be added and the total of the hearts and diamonds have to be subtracted from the total of clubs and spades. After making the calculations, the player would have to choose an answer from given options. The player who gives the right answer in less time would be declared winner, and wins all the money. The answer can be provided in the fix slot or flexi bar, based on the format of the game the player is playing.
All described above the player would have to provide answers in either fix slot or flexi bar, where in the fix slot, the answer should be chosen from a fixed range and in the flexi bar, the players would have to provide the answer by placing a bar anywhere in the flexible range.

The online gaming application provides a facility to the players for adding money into the wallet which can be through various modes of transactions. The players can also withdraw the amount which they have won through the game directly into their bank account. The wallet of the software application has two features including unutilized account and withdrawable balance. The amount deposited by the player will be reflected in unutilized account and the amount won in game/contest will be transferred to the withdrawable balance.
According to the present invention, the players can operate or play the game from anywhere in the world, and can play the game at any time. The players would have to pay the entry fee for joining the contest at the beginning of the game, and the player who wins the game can win the total collected amount from all the users after deduction of the platform fee.
The present invention is better understood with the help of examples.
Example 1:
In a game, 10 cards are displayed to all the players which includes A, 4 and 5 of hearts, 6 and 2 of spades, 3 and 4 of diamonds, and 9, A and 4 of clubs. Hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs are given numbers of 10, 11, 10 and 11 respectively. Therefore A, 4 and 5 of hearts comes to a total of (11+14+15=40); 6 and 2 of spades comes to a total of (17+13=30); 3 and 4 of diamonds comes to a total of (13+14=27); and 9, A and 4 of clubs comes to a total of (20+12+15=47). The final answer should be (40+27) – (47+30) = -10. The player who gives the answer in correct range will be the winner.
Example 2:
A total number of 100 players enter a contest, where the entry fee for the contest is ?10, and there are a total of 100 tickets sold. So for this contest, a total of ?1,000 is collected. In case the platform fees is set as 10%, then the total winning amount for the players’ would be ? 900, which is ?1000 subtracted by 10% of ?1000. If the maximum number of winners is set as 4%, then out of that 100 tickets, fastest 40 tickets with right answer can win the contest. The winning amount of ? 900 is distributed among the 40 winners, where each winner gets ?22.5.
