Abstract: The mechanically operated tail door assembly of tipper body comprises of Tail Gate, Tail gate mounting arms, Arms mounting Hinge assembly, wire ropes and wire ropes mounting assembly. Hinged arms are mounted on both sides of tipper body and swivel about their hinges respectively. Tail gate is mounted on rear side of pivoted arms so that provides proper closing of tipper body rear end. One end of wire rope is anchored to mounting arm's front end. Other end of wire rope is fixed in wire rope mounting assembly. Wire rope enables tail gate to open and close as tipper body raises and lowers respectively.

PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the nature of invention.
FIELD OF INVENTION:
> To provide a reliable and self-operating tail door assembly in tipper body, with more opening angle and more ground clearance.
> To reduce spillage of material during hauling operation, especially on gradients.
> Also to provide less complicated assembly
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION:
The conventional tail door assembly in tipper body has some limitations like less opening angle, Low ground clearance etc. To overcome these limitations one has to go for complicated mechanisms or hydraulically operated tail gate. Tn that case hydraulically operated tail door increases cost more whereas complicated mechanism has disadvantage of high rate of maintenance and running costs.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PRESENT INVENTION
Development of a mechanism to reduce spillage of material in rock-body while hauling, especially on gradient.
• To provide wide opening of door compared to conventional tail door.
• Reliable and self-operating tail door assembly of tipper body.
• To provide better opening angle and more ground clearance.
• To provide less complicated assembly this utilizes less number of components.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS:
• Tail door is mounted to the rear end of two pivoting arms.
Pivoting arms are anchored at front end with wire rope.
Wire rope is fixed with truck chassis.
• Figure 1(A) illustrates the "side view" of mechanical tail door fitted tipper
body in closed condition and its components.
Figure 1(B) illustrates the "rear view" of mechanical tail door fitted tipper body in closed condition.
• Figure 2 illustrates the side view of mechanical tail door fitted tipper body in
lifted condition with open tail door.
Figure 3 illustrates tail gate assembly and its mounting provisions with
pivoted arms.
Figure 4 illustrates assembly of pivoting arm.
• Figure 5 illustrates the hinge assembly and its mounting details on side wall of
tipper body.
Figure 6(A) illustrates wire rope position in mechanism. Figure 6(B) illustrates wire rope mounting assembly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION:
Referring now to the drawings wherein the showings are for the purpose of
illustrating a preferred embodiment of the disclosure only, and not for the purpose of limiting the same.
Figure 1A illustrates the side view of the vehicle - 7 with tipper body - 1 in closed condition mounted on the 7. As shown in Figure 1A mechanical tail gate -2 is mounted on tipper body - 1 by means of Arm -3A and 3B. Arm - 3A and 3B are hinged to tipper body - 1. Wire rope - 5 is fixed at one end in brackets provided in Arm 3A and 3B and at other end fixed in wire rope mounting assembly - 6.
Figure IB illustrates rear view of vehicle - 7, and tail gate - 2 also in closed condition.
Figure 2 illustrates side view of the vehicle with tipper body - 1 in tipped condition. Also refer open position of tail gate assembly - 2.
As tipper body-1 lifts from closed condition (Refer figure 1A) to fully open condition (shown in figure 2)
Tipper body - 1 rotates about its hinge point - 8, Because of there is a linkage between wire rope - 5 and arm assembly 3A and 3B they also rotate about hinge assembly - 4. Tail gate - 2 is fastened to one end of arm so tail gate - 2 moves in upward direction. As a result of Tipper body rotation about hinge point -8 tail gate - 2 opens mechanically.
Figure 3 illustrates tailgate assembly; its overall size depends on tipper body rear opening area on which its being fitted. Tail gate assembly is fitted on arm assembly by means of fasteners of appropriate size. Mounting plates are also shown in figure 3.
Figure 4 illustrates Arm assembly L.H. (3A) Arm assembly comprises of rope mounting brackets, bush for hinge assembly - 4, Tail gate assembly mounting plate and a fabricated structure to house all components mentioned above. Arm assembly R.H. (3B) is mirror to Arm assembly L.H. (3A).
Figure 5 illustrates Hinge assembly and over all tail gate mounting details. Hinge pin of hinge assembly - 4 fixed on side wall of the tipper body - 1 (Refer Section A-A, Taken at hinge center.
Figure 6 A & 6B illustrates wire rope - 5 mounting details. Top eye of wire ropes is mounted on Arm -3A & 3B with pin. Wire rope eyes are free to rotate. Bottom side wire rope is fixed on wire rope mounting assembly - 6A. Wire rope mounting assembly - 6 comprises of fabricated channel section, U bolt and fasteners. Wire rope mounting assembly is fixed with chassis frame at one end and at other end wire rope is mounted by means of U bolt. Top view of wire rope mounting assembly is shown in Figure 6B.
Above described tail door mechanism uses components mentioned above only. And thus saves cost on other conventional mechanism like hydraulics. It's very easy to fabricate thus results in improved productivity as well as very low maintaining costs. The foregoing description provides specific pictures of the present disclosure
