Abstract: The present invention relates to metabolites of 2-{3-[4-(5-fluoro-2-isopropoxy-phenyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-propyl}-5,6-dihydroxyhexahydro-1H-isoindole-1,3(2H)-dione of Formula I The compounds described herein can function as α1a-adrenoceptor antagonists and thus can be used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and related symptoms thereof. Processes for preparing such metabolites, pharmaceutical compositions thereof, and methods of treating BPH and related symptoms thereof are also provided.
