Method And Apparatus For Signal Compression And Decompression
Abstract: In one embodiment the method of compressing a digital signal includes reducing (S500) redundancies in the digital signal scaling (S510) a block of samples output from the reducing step by a scaling factor and quantizing (S520) the scaled samples to produce compressed samples. The digital signal being compressed may be a digital radio frequency signal.
