Method And Device For Detecting Biomolecule

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method that is for detecting a biomolecule, the method comprising: providing an electrode 101, and an aptamer 102 that is disposed in the vicinity of the electrode 101, that specifically binds to the target biomolecule, and that has an electric charge; introducing a cation mediator 113 having an electric charge opposite to the electric charge of the aptamer 102 into the electrode 101, at which the aptamer 102 is located; bringing a solution containing the target biomolecule into contact with the aptamer 102, and causing the aptamer 102 to bind to the target biomolecule; and measuring an electrical signal produced at the electrode 101 by the cation mediator 113.
