Method And System For Air Management Of Aircraft Systems

Abstract: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AIR MANAGEMENT OF AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS ABSTRACT A method and system for an air management system (AMS) (108) is provided. The AMS (108) includes a jet pump assembly (205) including a motive air inlet (210), a plurality of suction inlets (214), and a single outlet (207). The AMS (108) also includes a supply piping arrangement including a conduit (220) configured to channel relatively higher pressure air from a compressor (12) to the motive air inlet (210), a conduit (220) configured to channel relatively higher pressure air from the compressor (12) to at least one of the plurality of suction inlets (214) through a shutoff valve (212), and a conduit (211) configured to channel relatively lower pressure air from the compressor (12) to at least one of the plurality of suction inlets (214). The AMS (108) further includes an outlet piping arrangement (207) configured to channel outlet air from said jet pump assembly (205) to a distribution system (108). Fig.1
