Method And System For Cheque Deposit With Image Acknowledgement
Abstract: The present invention relates to an unattended system for depositing the cheque’s in a bank with proper acknowledgement. The cheque deposit stations as per the invention are machines connected to the bank's central server and accept the cheque and issue an acknowledgement for user with the image of the cheque. The stations also keep a log of transactions, which is used to generate various files for cheque's verification and validation, clearing of the cheque, and customer service.
