Method And System For Determining A Grade For Regrading A Steel
Abstract: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING A GRADE FOR REGRADING A STEEL ABSTRACT Embodiments of present disclosure relates to method and system for determining grade for regrading steel. The system receives achieved chemical composition of steel from one or more sources. The system compares achieved chemical composition with predetermined chemical composition. If achieved chemical composition does not match with predetermined chemical composition, the system compares achieved chemical composition with chemical composition of plurality of grades of steel. The system predicts achievable mechanical parameter of steel and also compares thickness value and quality index value of the steel. Thereafter, the system identifies at least one grade from plurality of grades of steel for re-grading the steel. Thus, the present disclosure is able to regrade steel without performing manual regrading process. Figure 1
