TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention generally relates to the field of video processing, and more particularly, to a method and system for playing recap video to a user based on user selected content.
BACKGROUND
The following description of related art is intended to provide background information pertaining to the field of the disclosure. This section may include certain aspects of the art that may be related to various features of the present disclosure. However, it should be appreciated that this section be used only to enhance the understanding of the reader with respect to the present disclosure, and not as admissions of prior art.
In recent years, the trend of storing and viewing videos online has increased. However, the problem of viewing a full video again and again for a selected portion that a viewer feels important, makes the viewer irritated. In order to see the selected portion of the video, either the viewer has to remember the time of the selected portion of the video or the viewer has to remember at which buffering point, the selected portion of the video plays. Due to these challenges, the viewer has to view the full video again for viewing the desired or the selected portion of the video.
For instance, in case of students who study online videos or material available to them in video graphic representation, the students have to watch the full video repeatedly for viewing the desired or the selected portion of the video. The students have to manually note time of a portion of the video that they feel is important. It becomes cumbersome for students to note down time of the selected portion of the video every time they watch the videos, and many-a-times, these manual notes may get lost by the students which cause them inconvenience.
In conventional video processing or viewing systems, there is no facility available where a student can select some important portion of the video and may watch it later on exam time just to recall the full video. Conventionally, the viewers have to view the full video just for some of the important/selected topics of the video, which is not feasible for a viewer to watch it every time. Further, the viewers have to note down the important topics which they feel important on a paper or have to carry notebook and pen to note down important topics.
Therefore, there is a need for a system and method which can alleviate problems existing in the prior art.
