Abstract: An engine cooled cooling air (CCA) heat exchanger system (200) includes a thermal bus intermediate loop heat exchanger (280) positioned external to a casing (116) of a core engine (112) and configured to provide a heat sink for a plurality of engine auxiliary systems (410), as well as at least one CCA heat exchanger (220, 240, 260) positioned inside of the core engine casing (116) and coupled in flow communication with the thermal bus intermediate loop (280).
