The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed:

FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention generally relates to the field of announcement systems in vehicles.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The following description of related art is intended to provide background information pertaining to the field of the disclosure. This section may include certain aspects of the art that may be related to various features of the present disclosure. However, it should be appreciated that this section be used only to enhance the understanding of the reader with respect to the present disclosure, and not as admissions of prior art.
The on-board information system are generally provided on vehicles for displaying or announcing information for the passengers travelling in the vehicle. The on-board information system may be a stand-alone one system for the whole vehicle or this system may be installed at every seat in the vehicle.
Conventional on-board information systems, specifically installed on vehicles, such as buses, trains, and other such vehicles, display journey details of the vehicle. Generally, the journey details include information, such as the destination to which the vehicle is heading, time which will be taken by the vehicle to reach the destination, and the like. Further, on these vehicles, entertainment systems are separately installed apart from the on-board information systems, for providing entertainment services to passengers in the vehicle. On vehicles used as public transport, such as buses and trains, passengers are usually not aware about the pickup and drop points along their route. Conventional on-board information systems or in fact the conventional

entertainment systems, do not provide any information about pickup and drop points available on the route of the vehicle.
Further, passengers get involved with the entertainment system due to which the passengers tend to ignore announcements which are made by the on-board information system of the vehicle. In some instances, the on-board information system displays journey details on the entertainment system, however users who are visually impaired may not be able to see the journey details, which can cause inconvenience to such users.
Therefore, there is a need to alleviate problems existing in the prior arts and in view of the inherent limitation of the existing systems, there exists an imperative need to provide a system which can provide multiple announcements via a single on board information system.
SUMMARY
This section is provided to introduce certain objects and aspects of the present disclosure in a simplified form that are further described below in the detailed description. This summary is not intended to identify the key features or the scope of the claimed subject matter.
In order to overcome at least a few problems associated with the known solutions as provided in the previous section, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a novel method and system for on-board announcement for passengers. Another object of the present disclosure is to provide a system and method which can help passengers to know where they are at all times, so that they do not miss their stop and makes their journeys stress-free. Further, yet another object of the present disclosure is to provide safety instructions to the

passenger. One other object of the present disclosure is to provide entertainment services to passengers in the vehicle. Further, one more object of the present disclosure is to provide commercial advertisements or other sponsored commercials related to products of a company operating the vehicle or any other such company.
In order to achieve the afore-mentioned objectives, the present disclosure provides a method and system for on-board announcement for passengers.
