Method And System For Splice Positioning And Validation

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method for positioning at least one splice in a wire harness. The method comprises identifying a plurality of connections including inlet and outlet connections in the wire harness, and identifying an inlet connection to be connected to a plurality of outlet connections. The method further comprises determining a position for the at least one splice for connecting the inlet connections with the plurality of outlet connections based on predetermined factors, and displaying the wire harness including the at least one splice determined, wherein the splice position is determined by iteratively placing the at least one splice at various positions in between the inlet connection and the plurality of outlet connection.
