Method And System To Derive Metrics For Developing A Customized Plan For Automotive Retail

Abstract: A system is provided for creating and implementing a plan customized to a customer for an automobile sale. The system analyzes the structured and the unstructured data of the customer collected from various sources. Based on the analysis, the system generated a personalized marketing plan, pre sales services or the post-sales services to the customer. The system considers the impact of the absolute satisfaction index (ASI) and customer life time value (CLV) of the person before generating the plan. According to another embodiment, a method is also provided for creating and implementing a plan customized to a customer related to automobile sale or after sale using the above mentioned system.

Specification

Claims:1. A method for creating and implementing a plan customized to a customer for an automobile marketing and sale, the method comprising:

providing a demographical data of the customer to a processor using a user interface;
accessing by the processor, an information from a social media profile of the customer;
mining by the processor, the information to extract a set of customer intelligence;
providing customer relationship management (CRM) details from an automobile dealer;
determining by the processor, an absolute satisfaction index (ASI) using the information obtained from the social media profile and the CRM detail of the customer;
estimating by the processor, a forecasted customer lifetime value (CLV) of the customer;
prioritizing a plurality of features of the automobile based on the ASI and CLV of the customer, wherein the plurality of features define preferences of the customer; and
generating the plan customized to the preferences of the customer.

2. The method of claim 1, further includes calculation of at least one of an optimal trade-in period.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the social media profile is at least one of a Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the step of mining further involves extracting the customer intelligence using the text analytics module.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the text analytics module is using a natural language processing (NLP) tool for extracting the customer intelligence.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the customer is a new customer or an existing customer.

7. A system for creating and implementing a plan customized to a customer for an automobile marketing and sale, the system comprising:

a user interface for providing a demographical data of the customer;
a database; and
a processor, the processor comprising,
a social listening module for accessing an information from a social media profile of the customer,
a text analytics module for mining the information and extracting a set of customer intelligence,
a CRM module for providing customer relationship management (CRM) details from an automobile dealer,
an ASI calculation module for calculating an absolute satisfaction index (ASI) using the information obtained from the social media profile and the CRM details of the customer,
a CLV calculation module for estimating a forecasted customer lifetime value (CLV) of the customer, and
a plan generation module for prioritizing a plurality of features of the automobile based on the ASI and CLV of the customer and generating the plan customized to the preferences of the customer.

8. The system of claim 7, wherein the plurality of features indicate preferences of the customer.

9. The system of claim 7, wherein the text analytics module is using a natural language processing (NLP) tool for extracting the customer intelligence.

10. The system of claim 7, wherein the set of customer intelligence includes at least one of a sentiments, life events, networking preferences, emotions of the customer.

11. The system of claim 7, wherein the social media profile is at least one of a Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter or Google.
