Abstract: Abstract METHOD FOR ARRESTING THE MOVEMENTS OF TERMINAL END TUBES AND MAINTAINING ITS PITCH DISTANCE TILL ERECTION The subject matter disclosed herein relates to a method for arresting movements of the terminal end tubes and maintaining its pitch distance. The terminal tubes panel has been fabricated by tube (02), fin flat (03), and terminal end tubes (04). In the present method, placing the terminal end of panel in leveled on the panel stands (06). Then marking has been done at terminal end of panel where bracing plate (07) to be insert. Now inserted the bracing plate (07) in terminal end of tubes (04). The movement of terminal end of tubes (04) has been arrested and its pitch distance also maintained. Then tack weld (08) has been done in between terminal tubes(c) and bracing plates (07). Claims:We claim:
1. An assembly method for arresting movements of terminal end tubes and maintaining pitch distance of terminal end tubes, the assembly method comprising:
placing terminal tube panel (10) upon a plurality of panel stands (06);
inserting a bracing plate (40, 07) in end of the terminal tubes (04) of the terminal tube panel (10); and
welding (08) the bracing plate (40, 07) with the plurality of terminal end tubes (04) to arrest movements of the plurality of terminal end tubes (04) and maintaining pitch distance between the plurality of terminal end tubes (04).

2. The assembly method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the welding (08) is tack welding.

3. The assembly method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the terminal tube panel (10) is fabricated by a plurality of tubes (02), a fin flat (03), and a plurality of terminal end tubes (04).

4. The assembly method as claimed in claim 1, wherein number of plurality of panel stand (06) depends on the length of the terminal tube panel (10).

5. The assembly method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the assembly method further comprising marking the plurality of terminal end of tubes (04) where the bracing plate (40, 07) is to be welded.

6. The assembly method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bracing plate (40, 07) is rectangular plate.

7. A bracing plate (40, 07) for arresting movement of terminal end tubes (04) and maintaining pitch distance between the terminal end tubes, the bracing plate (40, 07) comprising:

a rectangular plate (41); and
a plurality of holes (42) provided on the rectangular plate (41) to be inserted in plurality of terminal end tubes (04), wherein number of the plurality of holes (42) depends on number of plurality of terminal end tubes (04).

8. The bracing plate (40, 07) as claimed in claim 7, wherein length of the bracing plate (40, 07) depends on total pitch length of the terminal end tubes (04).

9. The bracing plate (40, 07) as claimed in claim 7, wherein diameter of the plurality of holes (42) depends on diameter of the terminal end tubes (04).

10. The bracing plate (40, 07) as claimed in claim 7, wherein width of the bracing plate (40, 07) depends on the hole diameter of the plurality of holes (42) on the bracing plate (40, 07).
, Description:METHOD FOR ARRESTING THE MOVEMENTS OF TERMINAL END TUBES AND MAINTAINING ITS PITCH DISTANCE TILL ERECTION
FIELD OF INVENTION:
[001] The present subject matter described herein, relates to Method of arresting the movement of terminal end tubes and maintaining its pitch distance till erection the panel of High temperature steam generators at site. More particularly the present invention relates to an improved manufacture process, ease for handling and transportation of terminal tubes panels of once through High temperature steam generators without any misalignments.
BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART:
[002] Boiler power plant consists of headers, coils, loose tubes, panels, and its attachment. These are all products named with various product group manufacturing assembly. The subject of the invention is about terminal tubes of panel and its attachment, which is used for arresting the movement of terminal end tube and maintain the pitch distance in steam generators. These super heater panels consist of tube and fin flat which are fabricated by panel formation machine. After panel formation, it’s loaded to concerned bay for further operation like attachment welding, dimensions correction, stress relieving’s, opening welding and terminal end tubes welding.
[003] Conventionally, the panels had manufactured without any bracing plates and sent to site for erection. The terminals tubes dimension like bend angle movements and pitch distance is not matching as per design document. The studies found out that the dimension deviation has occurred while handling the completed panels at shop by cranes and loading unloading at vehicle for transportation.
[004] The movements or, deviation had studied and came to a conclusion with the help of Engineering, the bracing plates has to be introduce at end of the terminals tubes of panels to arrest the movements and maintain the terminal end tubes pitch distance.
[005] The present invention gives a solution to above problem by introducing the bracing plates for terminal tubes panel pgma’s.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
[006] The principal objective of the present invention is to arrest the movement of terminal tubes and maintain the pitch distance till erection the panel of High temperature steam generators at sites.
[007] Another object of the present subject matter is to provide an improved the manufacturing process at shop and reduce the cycle time at site from reworks.
[008] Another object of the present subject matter is to make it convenient to use and prevent from deviation while handling as well as loading and unloading the terminal end tubes panel at shop and site.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
[009] The subject matter disclosed herein relates to a method of arresting the movement of terminal end tubes and maintaining its pitch distance till erection the panel of High temperature steam generators at site. Further, the present invention relates to an improved manufacturing process, reduce the time and eliminates reworks at site while erection. Again the present invention made it convenient to use and prevent deviation while handling as well as loading and unloading at shop and site. In the present subject matter, the terminal tubes panel has been fabricated by a plurality of tube, a fin flat and terminal end tube. The terminal end of panel is placed upon the levelled panel stands. Further, the number of panel stands depends upon the length of the terminal tube panel. A marking has been done at terminal end of panel where bracing plate is to be inserted. Once the bracing plate is inserted in terminal end of tubes, the movement of terminal end of tubes has been arrested and its pitch distance also maintained. After insertion, a tack welding is applied in between terminal tubes and bracing plate. After tack welding, the panels can be transported without any pitch distortion in the terminal end tubes. Therefore, the present method of arresting the movement of terminal tubes and its pitch distance has been arrived with the help of bracing plates. And this invention has been taken and implemented in Panel steam generator pgma’s.
[0010] In order to further understand the characteristics and technical contents of the present subject matter, a description relating thereto will be made with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the drawings are illustrative only but not used to limit scope of the present subject matter.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS:
[0018] The subject matter disclosed herein relates to a method of arresting the movement of terminal end tubes and maintaining its pitch distance till erection the panel of High temperature steam generators at site. Further, the present invention relates to an improved manufacturing process, reduce the cycle time and eliminates reworks at site while erection. Again the present invention made it convenient to use and prevent deviation while handling as well as loading and unloading at shop and site. In the present subject matter, the terminal tubes panel has been fabricated by a plurality of tube, a fin flat and terminal end tube. The terminal end of panel is placed upon the levelled panel stands. Further, the number of panel stands depends upon the length of the terminal tube panel. A marking has been done at terminal end of panel where bracing plate is to be inserted. Once the bracing plate is inserted in terminal end of tubes, the movement of terminal end of tubes has been arrested and its pitch distance also maintained. After insertion, a tack welding is applied in between terminal tubes and bracing plate. After tack welding, the panels can be transported without any pitch distortion in the terminal end tubes. Therefore, the present method of arresting the movement of terminal tubes and its pitch distance has been arrived with the help of bracing plates. And this invention has been taken and implemented in Panel steam generator pgma’s.

[0021] Referring to fig. 2, the terminal tubes panel 10 is fabricated by plurality of tubes 2, a fin flat 3, and terminal end tubes 4. Here terminal end tubes 04 of panel 10 has fabricated without any bracing plate. Before loading and unloading, the terminal end tubes 4 of the terminal end tubes panel 10 looks as fig. 1 well maintained pitch dimension. Referring to figure 1, Pitch 1 is nothing but Centre distance between two tubes. It is absorbed that the dimension deviation 05 (as shown in figure 2) has occurred while handling and movement of manufactured panels at shop by cranes and loading unloading at vehicle for transportation. Finally the pitch deviation and bend dimensions deviation has found at terminal end tubes.
[0022] Figure 3 shows the structure of panel stand which is used in the present subject matter. Figure 4 illustrates the construction of the bracing plate, in accordance with the present subject matter. The bracing plate 40 is provided for arresting movement of terminal end tubes and maintaining pitch distance between the terminal end tubes. The bracing plate 40 is in rectangular plate. The rectangular plate 40 has a plurality of holes 42 which couples with the terminal end tubes for arresting the movement of the terminal end tubes. Further, the number of holes depends on the number of terminal end tubes in the terminal tube panel 10.
[0023] As shown in fig 4, the present bracing plate manufactured dimension has arrive as follows:
[0024] Hole Diameter of the bracing plate (D)
“D” = D1 + 2 * t
whereas “D1” is diameter of terminal end tubes and “t” is value between 0.45 to 0.5 mm
[0025] Width of the bracing plate (W)
“W”= D + 2 * t1
[0026] Whereas “D” is Hole diameter of bracing plate and “t1” is value more than 11 mm.
[0027] Length of the bracing plate (L)
“L”= L1 + 2 * t2
Whereas “L1” is total pitch length of terminals end tubes and “t2” is value more than 11 mm
[0028] With above calculations the Bracing dimension has been arrived. And this invention has been already implemented in Panel steam generator pgma’s.
[0029] Fig. 5 illustrates the assembly of the bracing plate with the terminal end tubes of the terminal tube panel, in accordance with the present subject matter. As shown in Fig 5, the assembly method consists of the following steps:
[0030] First step is to put the terminal tube Panel with terminal tubes (as shown Fig 1) on panel stand 06 (as shown in Fig 3).
[0031] Inserting and setting a manufactured bracing plate 40 (07) (as shown in figure Fig 4) in end of the terminal tubes 04 of the panel 10.
[0032] Tack welding 08 the bracing plate with terminal end tubes 04 (as Fig 5 shown).
[0033] In fig 5, the terminal tubes panel is fabricated by a plurality of tubes 02, a fin flat 03, and a plurality of terminal end tubes (04). Placing the terminal end tubes of the panel 10 on levelled a plurality of panel stands 06 (as shown in figure 3). The number of plurality of panel stands 06 depends upon the length of the terminal tube panel. Further, marking is done at terminal end tubes 04 of the panel 10 where the bracing plate 07 (40) to be inserted. So the movement of terminal end of tubes 04 is arrested and its pitch distance is maintained. Once the bracing plate 07 is inserted in the terminal end of tubes 04, the bracing plate 07 is tack welded on the terminal end tubes 04.
[0034] So finally the method of arresting the movement of terminal tubes and maintaining its pitch distance has been sets up with the help of the bracing plates.
[0035] Advantages of the Invention
[0036] The present bracing plate has simplified the manufacturing process and permit to arrest any kind the of terminal end tube movement.
[0037] The terminal end tube pitch can be maintained till erection at site.
[0038] Reducing the cycle time while erection at site.
[0039] Eliminate the reworks for dimensions deviation.
[0040] It becomes easy to fit and use while fit-up and tack welding.
[0041] It prevent the dimension deviation while loading and unloading or, while movement of panels.
[0042] It’s useful for transportation.
[0043] Although embodiments for the present subject matter have been described in language specific to structural features, it is to be understood that the present subject matter is not necessarily limited to the specific features described.
