Method For Manufacturing Secondary Battery

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a gel polymer electrolyte battery, wherein the method comprises performing two pressurization processes before and after formation. The gel polymer electrolyte battery manufactured according to the present invention has a small separation between a separator and an electrode and high adhesive strength. In addition, the thickness of the battery is reduced, and the shape stability and stiffness thereof are improved. As a result, there is an effect of improving the characteristics of the battery, such as an increase in initial capacity, a decrease in initial resistance, improvement of cycle characteristics, high-temperature safety, overcharge safety, and penetration safety. Furthermore, when a high-temperature/pressurization process is applied, the gel polymer battery does not change physical properties, such as deterioration of an electrolyte, and can achieve a desired effect even if processing time is not long, so that the process efficiency of the gel polymer battery is higher than that of manufacturing a general liquid electrolyte battery.
