"Method For Producing High Strength Coke"
Abstract: In a method for producing high-strength coke in which a raw material is used which is produced by adding a caking additive to a coal blend that has been sieved into a fine coal and a coarse coal and kneading the mixture, the method includes calculating a change in a dilatation of the fine coal and a change in a dilatation of the coarse coal for each type of the coal blend when the caking additive is added; and controlling a proportion of the caking additive blended with the fine coal and the coarse coal so that a difference in a dilatation between the fine coal and the coarse coal when the caking additive is added becomes smaller than a predetermined value, and adding the caking additive to the fme coal and the coarse coal.
